Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a feeling of fastening and the getting on and off of passengers by setting up a thru for insertion guide and mounting the arm section of a moving member so that it can be slipped from the support section when the load exceeding the specified one is applied.
CONSTITUTION: Since the lower end of the arm section 4b of the moving member 4 is located considerably lower than the side rail 3 on which the guide rail 5 is mounted at fastening and the seat belt 1 is inserted and supported by the thru 6b which is mounted on the arm section 4b, the seat belt 1 is kept in the proper usage status and its feeling of fastening becomes good considerably. Since the arm section 4b of the moving member 4 is kept along with the upper part of the front pillar 9 and the seat belt 1 is kept in the front lower part than the upper end of the front pillar 9, the opening area for drivers to get on and off becomes exceedingly large and getting on and off is improved considerably.
