Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent mutual interference reaction due to the dissolution or reabsorption of effective chemical constituents from or to the absorbing carrier of testpaper, by treating a support to provide an excellent water-repelling property.
CONSTITUTION: The support of testpaper is coated or impregnated with a water- repellent substance. A fluorinated resin, paraffin wax or silicon oil having no hydrophilic group can be used as the water-repellent substance. A water-repellent barrier can be provided between layers of the testpaper on the support. A water- repellent seal can be bonded on the support.
