Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a branching filter which uses the dielectric coaxial resonator featuring the facilitated manufacture and also features a reduced number of the component parts through the miniature and rational internal distribution. CONSTITUTION:Two-streak and semicircular cross-section grooves 4, 5, 6 and 7 are provided in the longer direction inside case 2 and 3. And the cylindrical space formed with grooves 4 and 6 stores 8 units of 1/4 wavelength coaxial TEM resonators 8-15 with every 2 units in the axial direction via spacers 27, 28 and 29; while 6 units of 1/4 wavelength coaxial TEM resonators 16-21 are stored with every 2 units and in the axial direction into the space formed by grooves 5 and 7 via spacers 30 and 31 respectively. Then 1st terminal 39 is provided at one side end of the case along with 2nd and 3rd terminals 40 and 41 provided at the other side end, and the central conductor of terminal 39 is connected to one electrode of coupling capacitor 36 via metal bush 42. While the other electrode of capacitor 36 is connected to the inner conductor of resonator 15.
