Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the malfunctioning of the switch by controlling the second external control switch for switching the driving condition of the sound emitting body of the alarm device according to the position of the stem for adjusting the pointer and setting the alarm time.
CONSTITUTION: When the stem is pulled to the double pulling position with the second hand reaching the 12 hour position, a reset lever 9 gets in contact with the terminal 10 to reset the divider circuit 21 whereby the second hand is halted. Under such a condition, with the closing of an alarm controlling switch S, a second counter 31 is reset to be synchronized with the indication of the second hand. With the closing of a measure switch M, FF39 is set to actuate a buzzer 42 when the second hand indicates 12 hour. While the stem is set at the single pulling position, the reset lever is kept out of contact with the terminals 10 and 11. At this point, with the closing of the alarm control switch S, the state of a shift register 33 is changed to control a buzzer drive circuit 41 thereby changing the sound volume of the buzzer 42.
