Abstract
PURPOSE: To avoid the drive of reel turntable when two operations of fast traversing are made in error at the same time, by enabling to realize the safety set of the fast winding operation set with very simple constitution.
CONSTITUTION: If the first and second fast winding operation rods 57, 62 of the magnetic recording and reproducing unit are depressed in error at the same time, the first intermediate wheel lever 60 is latched with the second cam 66b of the second fast winding operation rod 62 so that the first intermediate wheel 58 can be detached with the gear 19a of the flywheel 19 and the reel turntable 33. Further, in this case, the second intermediate wheel lever 65 is latched with the first fast winding operation rod 57 and the second cam 61b so that the second intermediate wheel 63 can be detached with the gear 20a of the flywheel 20 and the reel turntable 34. Accordingly, the second cams detach the first and second intermediate wheel mechanisms from the reel turntable to avoid malfunction so that the reel stand can not be driven.
