Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the result of accelerated weathering test, by a method wherein, in case a weathering test is made, an oxygen partial pressure of an atmosphere is set that it is higher than that of the air, and a relative humidity of an atmosphere at an irradiating time with ultraviolet rays is maintained at 40% or less. CONSTITUTION:A weathering test is made such that, as a sample supporting device 5, whereto a sample is attached, is turned, dispersion of water to a sample by a spray 8 and irradiation with ultraviolet rays froma a light source 3 are periodically repeated in an atmosphere having an enhanced oxygen partial pressure. Irradiation with ultraviolet rays is conducted such that a humidity, increasing due to dispersion of water by the spray, is brought to 40% or less of a relative humidity in an atmosphere through bleeding of water and air, being increased in humidity, through a drainage port 10 as dried air is fed by pressure through a blast port 9.
