Abstract

An electromotive adjusting device comprises an elastic intermediary member (7') consisting of two transmission members (11, 12) to be axially adjusted towards or away from each other from a common static position and a spring (13) under initial stress to be acted upon in both directions by the two transmission members, during which movement the spring (13) will be compressed. The intermediary member serves as an overload protection in headlight adjusting devices or door locking systems and makes possible a manual adjustment. <IMAGE>
