This cushioning material may be molded in advance into a shape that matches the shape of the recesses 6, 7 and then embedded in the recesses, but in this embodiment, in order to facilitate manufacturing, the recesses 6, 7 are formed on the upper and lower surfaces. After forming the provided horseshoe body 1, the above-mentioned material is filled in the recess in a molten state and solidified to form the material, and at the same time, the embedding is completed. By advancing the molten material filled from one recess into the other recess through the through hole 8, the cushioning materials on the upper and lower surfaces are integrally connected to each other, and the attachment to the horseshoe body is made firm. .

By the way, in the product of the present invention having the above structure, the horseshoe main body 1 is molded, then the recesses 6 and 7 are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the horseshoe main body, and the separately molded cushioning materials 2 and 3 are further fitted into the recesses. However, an easier method is to form a recess 6°7 in conjunction with the molding of the horseshoe body, and then fill the recess with a molten cushioning material and allow it to solidify. Yes, and good quality horseshoes can be obtained.

FIG. 4 shows an aluminum alloy base material 1' that makes up ten horseshoe bodies. The shape of this base material and the order of manufacturing the horseshoes of the present invention from this base material will be explained below. The material is formed into a thick strip by extrusion molding, and groove-shaped recesses 6' and 7', which become the recesses 6 and 7, are formed on the lower surface 4' and upper surface 5' of the material by extrusion molding. It will be set up over the period.

This base material is formed as a long material with the above shape, but this base material is then cut to the required dimensions to match the length of the horseshoe, and the base material is placed approximately at the center of the cut length. The base material cut into a predetermined size and made into a unit length of a horseshoe is bent and formed into a well-known horseshoe shape to form a horseshoe body 1, and then each of the base materials is provided on the lower and upper surfaces of the horseshoe body. Recess 6'

In this case, as is commonly done in hoof dressing work, the hoof that comes into contact with the upper surface 5 of the horseshoe main body 1 has its circumferential edge touching the upper surface 5.
The outer edge protrudes outward from the periphery of the hoof, and the hoof is placed in such a way that it comes into contact with the cushioning material 3 that is buried in the upper surface of the hoof, so as to be in a position slightly inward from the outer edge of the hoof. After the horseshoe is fitted, the parts are removed with a file so that the outer shape of the horseshoe main body 1 when the hoofing is completed matches the outer shape of the hoof.

As explained above, since the present invention has a cushioning material embedded in the metal horseshoe body, this cushioning material absorbs and cushions the impact that occurs when landing, thereby reducing the impact transmitted to the hoof and legs. This has the great effect of avoiding damage caused by landing impact.

In addition, the cushioning material provided on the underside of the horseshoe body not only cushions the impact, but also securely grips the ground, which prevents the horseshoe from slipping and ensures stable landings and kickoffs. The cushioning material provided on the top prevents the hoof from coming into direct contact with the metal horseshoe body.
Effectively prevents groove-like wear caused by hoof clamp action,
This will prevent damage to the hoof itself.

In the above embodiment, a case was explained in which the cushioning material was buried in the upper and lower surfaces of the horseshoe body 1, but even if the cushioning material was buried in either the lower surface or the upper surface, a cushioning effect at the time of landing can be expected. Of course it can be done.

5 and 6 show the case where cushioning materials 2 and 3 are provided on the lower surface 4 and upper surface 5 of the horseshoe body 1, respectively.
If the cushioning material is provided only on the lower surface, it can absorb and alleviate the impact that occurs between the horseshoe body and the ground when landing, and if the cushioning material is provided on the upper surface, it can absorb and alleviate the impact between the horseshoe body and the hoof.

When a cushioning material is provided on the bottom surface, it improves the engagement with the ground and prevents slipping as described above, while when it is provided on the top surface, it prevents the hoof from collapsing. This means that it can be expected to be effective in preventing damage.

In short, the horseshoes manufactured by the method of the present invention have a resilient and strong cushioning material embedded in either the lower surface or the upper surface of the horseshoe body, or both, so that the impact upon landing is cushioned by this cushioning material. Therefore, the metal material of the horseshoe body, the recesses, and the specific formation of the cushioning material are at the discretion of the manufacturer to the extent that does not deviate from the spirit of the present invention. Entrusted.

1 It has a thick band shape, and has a groove-like recess formed on one or both of its upper and lower surfaces over the entire length, and a rib-like piece on one side edge of the upper surface over the entire length. A horseshoe base material integrally provided throughout is extruded from an aluminum alloy material, the formed horseshoe base material is cut into a required length, and the length of the above-mentioned piece corresponding to approximately the center of the cut unit length is determined. A part of the horseshoe base is left in the middle and the other part is cut off from the upper edge of the horseshoe base material to form an iron lip, and then the cut horseshoe base material is bent into a horseshoe shape at the center of the iron lip to form the horseshoe body. After forming the groove-like recess, an elastic cushioning material such as rubber is filled in a molten state and hardened to embed the cushioning material on one or both of the upper and lower surfaces of the horseshoe body.
