The outer circumferential surface of the metal tube 1 is coated with a synthetic resin to form the annular body 3a, and the bottom pieces 10, 10 of both the upper and lower metal cylinders 1, 1 are covered with synthetic resin to form a web 9 continuous with the annular body 3a. Thus, the hair wrapping body 3 is formed.

In the bear curler A configured in this way, the web 9
Electricity is supplied to the heating element 2 arranged in the upper F metal cylinders 1, 1, which serve as both poles of the heating element 2 through electrode terminals 15, respectively.
10, the electrode terminal 5 is inserted into a socket (not shown) provided in the storage box (not shown) of the hair curler A, and power is supplied to the heating element 2 from the socket. The heat generated by the heating element 2 is transmitted to the entire hair winding body 3 through the upper and lower metal cylinders 1, 1, and the heat is accumulated in the synthetic resin forming the hair winding body 3. A desired curl is applied to the hair wrapped around the hair wrapping body 3 and caught by a large number of protrusions 17 protruding from the outer periphery of the hair wrapping cylinder 3.

In this way, the heat generated by the heating element 2 curls the hair, and usually a number of hair curlers A are used to curl the hair, so a lightweight curler that can reduce the feeling of weight on the head as much as possible is used. It is necessary to use hair curler A and to securely fix hair curler A to the head.

Now, it has a metal cylinder 1 and a self-temperature control heating element as a heating element 2.
In the hair curler A configured as a hair curler A, since the hair wrapping body 3 is provided with a protrusion 17 for hair wrapping, it is advantageous to form the outer surface of the metal tube 1 with a synthetic resin layer. Forming a synthetic resin layer on the inner surface is advantageous for increasing the heat storage capacity of the entire hair curler A, but is disadvantageous for reducing the weight of the hair curler A.

If the emphasis is on reducing this weight, it is advantageous to remove the synthetic resin layer on the inner surface of the metal tube 1, but this metal tube 1 also serves as an electrode plate for the heating element 2, which is a self-temperature control element. When a voltage is applied to heat the metal cylinder 1, it becomes charged, and it is dangerous for the metal cylinder 1 to be exposed.

However, since the electrode terminal 5 is inserted into the socket on the lower inner surface when power is supplied to this hair curler A, the upper inner surface cannot be touched while power is being supplied, even if it is not covered with synthetic resin. It's safe.

Regarding this weight reduction, it is also effective that the handle portions 4 extending from both ends of the hair winding drum 3 are made only of synthetic resin and are made thin.

In addition, when the hair to be curled is usually wrapped around the hair curler A, the hair is wrapped so that the hair is not wrapped around both ends of the curler A. In this case, the handles 4 at both ends of the hair curler A are used. This is the part to hold with your fingers when wrapping the hair around the hair curler A.

Here, if the total length of the hair curler A is a1 and the length of the end portion of the hair curler A where the hair is not wrapped, that is, the length of the handle portion 4, is then the dimension a is generally 60 mm to 7 Omm.
, b dimension is approximately 5 to 10 mm.

By the way, hair curler A can effectively apply heat to hair.
Needless to say, in order to prevent the hair from feeling hot when wrapping the hair while holding it, the temperature of the 3 parts of the hair wrapping body should be made high and the temperature of the handle part 4 should be made low.

If the metal cylinder 1 that transmits the heat of the heating element 2 is inserted only in the hair wrapping body 3, and the handle part 4 is simply made of a synthetic resin layer, the thermal conductivity of synthetic resin is much lower than that of metal. This means that the above points can be achieved.

For the same reason, the hair wrapping protrusion 17, which is provided to facilitate hair wrapping, is provided only on the part of the hair wrapping body 3 into which the metal cylinder 1 is inserted, and is omitted from the handle part 4.

The fact that the handle part 4 is made of only synthetic resin not only makes the hair curler A lightweight and has effective heat efficiency by minimizing the number of metal parts, but also makes the hair curler A more effective.
The edges are flexible, making them resistant to shocks such as when dropped.

At this time, by making the handle part 4 thinner than the hair wrapping body 3, sufficient elasticity and flexibility can be imparted to the handle part 4, and damage to the internal mechanism from drop impact etc. can be further prevented.

As described above, the present invention involves sandwiching a heating element between the bottoms of a pair of bottomed metal cylinders, molding a synthetic resin to form a hair wrapping body, and inserting the synthetic resin from the tip of the peripheral wall of the bottomed metal cylinders. Since the handle part is formed by protruding the layer part, there is no metal tube inserted into the handle part that transmits the heat of the heating element to each part, and therefore the temperature of the hair wrapping body, which is the part around which the hair is wrapped, becomes high. However, the temperature of the handle, which is made only of synthetic resin with low thermal conductivity, does not rise very high, and it has the advantage of having enough heat to curl hair, being lightweight, and easy to handle. Moreover, since the thickness of the handle, which is made only of synthetic resin, is thinner than that of the hair wrapping body, it is easy to hold in the hand, and the clip can be inserted easily, making it convenient to use. The ends of the hair curler have elasticity and flexibility, which not only improves the feeling of use, but also absorbs shock when dropped or bumped, and protects internal parts such as internal heating elements and metal tubes. This has the effect of preventing damage to the
