Many passive belt devices have been proposed that automatically operate in response to door opening/closing in order to make it easier to attach and release the seatbelt. There are various problems that need to be improved regarding the related guiding mechanism, and studies are still being continued in various fields.

The inventor of the present invention has been paying attention to this problem for some time, and has attempted to improve it by researching a method of converting the degree of opening of the door into the operation of a drive member for guiding the belt through an interlocking mechanism. We have proposed a belt guiding device that integrates a reaction mechanism that responds to the movement of the reaction mechanism, and an amplification interlocking mechanism that responds to the reaction mechanism, amplifies the movement, and converts it to a belt guiding operation.

However, due to the mechanism in which one end of the response rod, which is the main body of the response mechanism, is fixed to the vehicle body, there are restrictions on the installation location of the device, and in addition, there is a need to guide the belt from the door closed state to the door half open state. Although the belt is not guided until the door is fully opened, the reaction rod requires a rotatable intermediate rod in order to absorb the movement that does not hinder the opening of the door. This required a special sliding groove surface to smooth the movement of the rods, including the rods, leading to a complicated overall mechanism.

Of course, the above device is also very effective depending on its mounting position, and it goes without saying that it is sufficiently effective in itself, but when considering various aspects of the belt guiding mechanism of a passive belt, it is possible to use a simpler device. It is natural that the need for a guidance device that is flexible is acutely felt, and therefore, in response to this need, the response rod is always urged toward the vehicle member by the biasing force of an elastic spring, and the response rod is Previously, a mechanism was proposed in which the belt can be smoothly guided by setting the tip end so as to counteract the elastic force of the elastic spring and come into contact with the vehicle member.

However, when this mechanism was later tested, it was found that although it was extremely comfortable when opening the door, when closing the door it compressed the elastic spring, making the movement feel heavy. I came to know that there was a need for departmental improvements.

Accordingly, the structure of the present invention that achieves the above object includes forming a locking portion at the tip of the response rod, and providing an elastic locking device on the vehicle member side that can be elastically engaged with and detached from the locking portion. When the door is opened, the locking part of the response rod is elastically engaged and disengaged from the elastic locking device, and when the door is opened, the spring force of the spring causes the locking portion of the response rod to engage and disengage from the elastic locking device, and the rod slides only when engaged, resulting in amplification interlocking. While the mechanism is activated to move the belt toward the front of the vehicle, when the door is closed, the response rod engages with the vehicle member side locking tool and slides together, thereby causing the amplification interlocking mechanism to act on the opposite side. , which is characterized by moving the belt toward the rear of the vehicle.

That is, the amplification interlocking mechanism does not operate until the response rod 16 engages with the locking tool 24 of the vehicle body 1, and therefore the shoulder belt 3 is not guided, and the response rod 16 does not reach the required position. When the opening angle is reached, the locking part 16a at the tip
When the latch 24 is locked, the engagement between the rack 18 and the pinion 19 causes each gear of the amplification interlocking mechanism to perform the required interlocking operation, causing the drive gear 17 to operate in a manner different from when the door is opened. The drive member 1, such as a racked wire, is rotated in the opposite direction.
2, the movable anchor member 6 is moved to the solid line position in FIG.

Thus, by engaging and disengaging between the locking portion 16a at the tip of the response rod 16 and the hook portion 24a of the locking tool 24 on the vehicle body side, the movable anchor member 6 is automatically moved between the occupant restraint position and the release position. In addition to automatically guiding passengers to get on and off the vehicle, it is possible to automate restraint and release using shoulder belts.

FIGS. 9 to 11 are explanatory diagrams showing the operating states of door opening/closing and belt guidance when the belt guiding device based on the above structure is used. In contrast, the locking tool is made up of two claw members 29 and 30 elastically connected to the mushroom-shaped locking portion 16b, whereas the locking tool is elastically engaged with the locking portion 16b in the shape of a mushroom. The only difference is that the spring force is elastically engaged with the door, and the spring force is released at the required door opening angle, for example, about 30 degrees. There is no difference from the cases shown in FIGS. 4 to 6.

As described above, the present invention uses the amplification interlocking mechanism to convert the displacement of the door due to the opening and closing of the door into the movement of the movable anchor member etc. that engages with the shoulder belt via the response mechanism, and in any door opening angle state. The shoulder belt is moved from a position that obstructs getting on and off the vehicle, and the opening of the door after the belt is shifted can easily respond to the movement, so the movement of simply opening and closing the door automatically eliminates the large amount of belt displacement. This makes it possible to absorb this and significantly improve the practicality of the passive belt.In addition, we have adopted an easy-to-engage locking mechanism that uses the spring force as a response mechanism, and the tip of the response rod and a single unit. Since the side locking device is elastically engaged and can be automatically engaged and disengaged depending on the opening angle of the door, the door can be easily opened and closed, without being weighed down by spring compression when the door is closed. In addition, even if the amplification mechanism does not operate in the event of a collision, it is easy to manually release the door, and the door can be easily opened for emergency escape, making the overall installation simple. This, together with the reliability of mechanical operation, is extremely safe, and has expanded its use to various vehicle models, and has a remarkable effect on improving safety through the use of seatbelts.
