られる湯水混合栓の多くは、湯用或いは水用の弁を併設
し、これらを夫々調節することにより、混合された湯水
を使用するものであって、水用の弁或いは湯側の弁のバ
ンドルの両方を互いに独立に操作して湯水の量を調節し
、混合温水の温度及び吐出量が適当になるように調整す
るものであるから、温度と吐出量の調節は甚だ面倒且つ
困難であるという欠点があった。

を図面に従って説明すれば、1は混合栓本体Aの内部に
設けられた弁嵌合孔、2は弁嵌合孔1の周壁に設けられ
た水の供給口、3はその下方に設けられた湯の供給口、
4は弁嵌合孔1の下方に設けられた混合室、5,6は混
合室4の底部に設けられた弁座、7は混合温水通孔であ
って、混合室4内の混合温水を吐出口18へ導くもので
ある。

実とさせるから好ましい。

されるべく継手16を介してレバー17に係合されて成
