本発明は6価クロムを含有するクロムめっき工場より排
出される老化廃液ならびにその水溶液、またはプラスチ
ックめっきのクロム含有エッチング廃液ならびにその水
洗液において、これらの単一廃液もしくは2種以上の混
合廃液中、特に鉄、銅などの重金属を1リットル中20
g以上を含有し、そのまゝでは到底皮かくなめし用は勿
論、その他の工業にも全く使用の価値なきクロム酸含有
廃液を簡易かつ経済的に処理し、皮かくなめし用クロム
酸溶液としての使用に適するクロム酸含有廃液の処理方

エッチング工場より排出されるクロム含有エッチング廃
液ならびにその水洗液のうち、これら廃液についての単
一液、もしくは2種以上の混合液よりなるクロム酸含有
廃液成分中、特に鉄、銅などの重金属分を該廃液1リッ
トルのうち、20g以上を含有する廃液に対し、先づカ
セイソーダ若しくはソーダ灰を常温下、若しくは少しく
加温した状態にて添加し、液のpHを4〜7の範囲に調
整し、溶存重金属分をクロム酸含有廃液中より沈澱せし
め、これをr別、除去したる透明P液に対し、含存する
6価クロムを還元するために、常法の還元剤、すなわち
亜硫酸ガスによる還元処理または、先づ硫酸を添加、液
のpHを0.5〜1.0の範囲に調整後、ブドウ糖の添
加による還元処理を行った後、pHを2〜3に調整し、
皮かくなめし用として有害なる重金属ならびに6価クロ
ムを含まない皮なめし用に適する硫酸クロム溶液を、前
記廃液より簡易なる処理工程により、容易に収得するこ
とを特徴とする特に重金属分を廃液1リットル中、20
g以上を含有するクロムめつき老化液またはプラスチッ
クめっきのエッチング廃液ならびにそれぞれの水洗液よ
りなるクロム酸含有廃液より、皮カベなめし用に適する
硫酸クロム溶液を収得することを特徴とするクロム酸廃
