Normally, 4m pressure is measured at the upper arm, but since the blood pressure monitor of the present invention is also used as a wristwatch, it is measured at the lower arm near where the wristwatch is worn, which is different from the usual measurement position. Since the values are different, it is necessary to take measures to correct the differences in measured values in advance.

When measuring blood pressure, the air pump 12 sends air to the air bag 9 which also serves as a band, and the air is gradually removed from the air vent 13 while listening to the pulse sound from the speaker 8.
The highest and lowest blood pressure values are measured while reading the digital value 14 displayed on the face of the watch.

In this embodiment, a method was adopted in which the pulse sound was played using a speaker, which is a method generally used for blood pressure measurement. The blood pressure can be measured by providing a display section 15 that blinks with the pulse sound, adjusting the air pressure while watching the blinking status of the display section 15, and reading the number 14 displayed on the display surface.

Furthermore, it can be equipped with an alarm device that sets and memorizes the daily measurement time, sounds a speaker or a sounding device at the set time, and notifies the measurement time. Various applications are also possible, such as being able to be incorporated into a system that sends data to health care centers.
