Conventionally, dust removal devices have been used to remove impurities or neps from raw fibers, and some have been developed as stand-alone mechanical devices, or these devices have been added to mixed cotton machines, carding machines, and fine carding machines. It is arranged so that it can be removed from the fibers being processed.

Most of these separation means spread the fibers and scatter heavy materials such as neps using centrifugal force, and at the same time, create a suction airflow to collect useful fibers from the scattered fibers.
The processing speed of in-process fibers did not match the separation capacity, and satisfactory separation was not possible, resulting in poor dust removal effects.

1. Fiber separation to collect fiber raw materials or treated fibers discharged from fiber processing equipment, remove heavy objects such as impurities and fiber lumps contained in the collected fibers, and recover useful fibers that can be reused. An apparatus, the apparatus comprising:
Fiber supply device 2 that feeds incoming fibers while collecting them
, a fiber opening/separation roller device 3 disposed adjacent to the fiber group sending section of the fiber supply device, and a separated fiber extraction/suction device 5 disposed above the fiber spread/separation roller device and connected to the cotton collection tank.
The opening and separating roller device 3 consists of a fiber supply device 2 and a fiber feeding device 2.
A fiber spreading/separating roller 12 is provided with a tooth profile on its circumferential surface to spread the fiber group sent out from a fixed table 17 in a downward direction; The separated fiber extraction suction device 5 is composed of a stripping roller 13 that rotates in slight contact with the toothed profile of the
The main suction duct 8 connected to the suction fan is extended downward to open tangentially to the side opposite to the opening action side of the opening and separating roller 12 and over the axial circumferential surface of the opening and separating roller. A suction duct 7 is branched from the root and opened tangentially above the fiber supply device 2 side of the stripping roller 13 and over the axial circumferential surface of the stripping roller, and the suction duct 8 and the fiber opening/separation roller are connected to each other. 12, a covering plate 22 having a separating plate 20 with a substantially triangular cross section on the tip side is swingably attached to the shaft of the fiber opening/separating roller 12 to form a recovered fiber passage. The separating plate 20 forms a slight gap with the opening and separating roller on the tip side, and gradually widens as it approaches the suction duct 8 side, and an air introduction adjustment plate 24 is provided at the connection part with the suction duct 8. A fiber separation device characterized in that it is configured so that it can be opened and closed freely.
