Photoelectric smoke detectors operate by causing a light scattering phenomenon by smoke particles, and can respond immediately to sudden and high-energy disturbances such as disturbance noise caused by light or electricity. Since this causes false alarms, it is necessary to determine which signal is causing the operation, whether it is due to normal operation due to smoke or malfunction due to disturbance noise.

Conventional photoelectric smoke detectors perform this type of discrimination using only the threshold level, so if there is noise that exceeds the threshold level even momentarily, there is a risk of malfunction. It is difficult to create a delay in the pulsed signal output, and furthermore, conventional photoelectric smoke detectors have a structure that completely cuts out ambient light, so they have poor smoke flow characteristics. There are drawbacks such as.

In view of these problems, the photoelectric smoke detector according to the present invention provides a judgment period for the detection operation, in other words, it has a delayed operation to improve reliability by passing only the original signal caused by smoke. This is the purpose.

A detection signal processing circuit in a photoelectric smoke detector according to the present invention is a level detection circuit for detecting an operating level in a photoelectric smoke detector that operates by causing a light scattering phenomenon by smoke particles, and a level detecting circuit that maintains the operating level. It is composed of a switching circuit, a switching reset circuit, a discharge circuit, a CR time constant circuit, and an output circuit, so it eliminates power consumption during smoke detection, and also outputs a steady output until it is reset by the switching circuit to prevent smoke. It is possible to prevent malfunctions due to other disturbance noises, and the reliability of operation can be increased by delaying operation using a CR time constant circuit and checking the signal level several times, and it does not operate with a single instantaneous pulse. It has excellent features, such as being able to operate only after a series of commanded pulses arrive, eliminating malfunctions and further increasing reliability.
