Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はおもつ組立体に関し、更に詳細には幼児の活動
性や性別により必要に応じ吸収材の位置を変換出来るお
むつ組立体に関する。
現今入手出来るおむつの構造は一般に、幼児のまた部か
ら腰部迄延びる単一の吸収材パッド領域を有する。
この様なおむつはまた部で脚のまわりに良く適合するよ
うに曲面を附することが出来る。
しかし、これは最も必要な位置から吸収材パッドを除去
するという欠点を生じる。
その結果、該領域の吸収材パッドは多量の水分を含んだ
時強度が低下しかたまりとなる。
又、腰部に多量の吸収材パッドを用いると、吸収材パッ
ドの濡れた部分が上方に延び腰部の方へ拡がることにな
る。
従って、製造が簡単でしかも幼児の性別や活動性に完全
に適合する汎用のおむつの需要が多い。
又、不快感がなく体にぴったり合うよう平面的なおむつ
の所要位置に吸収材パッドを附加するおむつの需要があ
る。
本発明の目的は、幼児の年令、性別又は活動性に関連し
て吸収材の容量を所要位置に附加する為の手段を設けた
汎用のおむつを提供することである。
本発明は外側の面および内側の面を有する主パッド組立
体と、該主パッド組立体の上記内側の面に重ねられた補
助パッド組立体とから成り、該補助パッド組立体は１端
が上記主パッド組立体の内側の面にまた部付近で固定さ
れ、該補助パッド組立体の自由な他端を反転させること
により、該補助パッド組立体の上記主パッド組立体に重
ねられた位置がまた部に関し反対側の２つの位置の間で
変換されるおむつを提供する。
幼児の年令、性別は活動性により，上記補助パッド組立
体はおむつの後側（おむつ着用時の身体に関して云う。
以下同様）の位置とおむつの前側の位置との間で位置を
変換することが出来る。
補助パッド組立体の吸収材により主パッド組立体の吸収
材の量を減じ必要個所に吸収材を配置することが出来る
。
これにより、主パッド組立体はよく体に適合し全体的な
液体保持能力が増大する。
補助パッド組立体は、男児の場合、性別に関係なく起き
て動いている年令の低い幼児の場合、又は年令、性別に
関係なくうつぶせに寝ている場合は前側に配置する。
反対に，女児の場合、性別に関係なく起きて動いている
比較的年令の高い幼児の場合、又は年令、性別に関係な
くあお向けに寝ている場合は後側に配置する。
尿失禁又は下痢の状態の下ではパッドは必要に応じ配置
することが出来る。
以下図面を参照して、本発明の実施例を説明する。
さて、第１図及び第２図を見ると、おむつ組立体１は、
主パッド組立体２と補助パッド組立体３とから戒る。
おむつは全体的に矩形で、第２図に最もよく示されてい
るように、前側から後側へ長軸がある。
おむつは第１図に最もよく示されているように包装、貯
蔵又は出荷の為に長軸に対し略直角に折りたたむことが
出来る。
第１図乃至第３図のおむつの実施例では、それぞれ側縁
１０，１１から内側へ間隔を置き大体該側縁に平行な折
たたみ線６，７及び８，９により断面がＺ字形に形成さ
れた側縁ボックスプリーツ４，５を有する。
ボックスプリーツはまた部の横断方向の折たたみ軸線Ｔ
− Ｔ’の付近の１個所又は複数個所で後述のように
補助パツド３に固定する。
第２図は、また部でボックスプリーツを補助パッド３に
固定する為の接着剤１２，１３を示している。
ボックスプリーツによりおむつはまた部で身体によく適
合するようになされ、しかもポ゛ンクスフ゜リーツの自
由な端部１４，１５，１６，１７を拡げれば腰部のまわ
りによく適合させることが出来る。
これは第３図に最もよく図示されている。
テープ１８，１９は接着剤の面を有し該面は引剥シ一ト
２０，２１で覆われている。
引剥シ一トを引剥がしてテープをおむつの外側の裏打シ
一ト２３の外面２２に固着させる。
主パッド組立体２はプラスチックのような大体撥水性又
は流体非滲透性材科の外側シート、吸収＠２４、及び流
体滲透性材科の内側シ一ト２５から成る。
吸収材２４は粉砕した木材パルス、セルロース詰め綿、
合成又は天然の、織った又は不織の、フエルト状の又は
からみ合った繊維、非繊維性材科（例えば開放セル又は
閉鎖セルのスポンジ材科）、連続フィラメント又は切断
した繊維等の任意の適当な材料でよい。
内側シ一ト２５及び外側シ一ト２３の中間又は外側に更
に別のシートを附加してもよい。
最も内側のシートは流体滲透性が良くしかも幼児の皮膚
を保護する為に滑らかで軟い感触即ち「風合」を有する
織られた又は不織のフィラメントのシートであるのが好
ましい。
最も内側のシートは必要に応じ、薬剤、化学薬品、防臭
剤、軟化剤、パウダー（例えばベビーパウダー）、表面
活性剤、加湿剤、軟こう、香料、殺菌剤、等で処理する
。
外側シートは任意の燃可塑性又は熱硬化性プラスチック
、例えばポリオレフィン（ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレ
ン）、ポリスチレン、ポリビニールプラスチック、例え
ばポリ塩化ビニール等でもよいし、その他の任意の流体
非滲透性材料でもよい。
混合重合体積層材、共重合体及び三重重合体も用いるこ
とが出来る。
このシートは連続押出し、モールド、その他の作業で作
ることが出来、均質なシートであるのが好ましい。
補助パッド組立体３は主パッド組立体２の吸収材２４と
同一又は類似の性質を有する吸収材２６を有している。
吸収材２６は内側シ一ト２５について既に説明したと同
様に防臭剤、薬剤、等を含滲飽和或いは附着させること
が出来る。
１実施例では吸収材２６を両端２８ ，２９でシールし
た流体滲透性袋２７の中に配置することが出来る。
第２図に最もよく示されているように、補助パッド組立
体３の１端の両側の隅部３０，３１はそれぞれ接着剤１
２．１３によって主パッド組立体２の両側のボックスプ
リーツに固定されている。
接着剤１２．１３の代りに熱シール、溶剤シール等のよ
うな他の適当な手段を用いてもよい。
製造時に、補助パッド組立体３の１端の両隅部３０ ，
３１に接着剤を施し、該両隅部３０．３１を軸線Ｔ −
Ｔ’に沿うようにボックスプリーツと主パッド組立体
２の本体との間に挿入し、補助パッド組立体３の１端と
ボックスプリーツとの固定を行う。
第２図及び第３図に示すように、補助パッド組立体３は
自由端側を反転することにより主パッド組立体２に対す
る位置を第１の位置３２と第２の位置３３（第２図の２
点鎖線）との間で変換することができる。
第１の位置３２は着用時に前側となる位置であり、一般
に、おむつを第３図に示すように当てかった時、男児に
用いる。
この位置は又、性別に関係なくうつむけに寝ている幼児
及びはったりうつむけになっている年令の低い時に尿を
もらす幼児に適している。
第２の位置３３即ち着用時後側となる位置は女児又はよ
ちよち歩きの或いは授乳児の起き上った状態の幼児に適
している。
又、性別に関係なく下痢その他の胃腸を悪くした幼児に
適している。
この様に補助パッド組立体３は幼児の年令、性別、活動
性又は健康状態により位置を変換することが出来る。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 外側の面および内側の面を有する主パッド組立体と
    、該主パッド組立体の上記内側の面に重ねられた補助パ
    ッド組立体とから戒り、該補助パッド組立体は１端が上
    記主パッド組立体の内側の面にまた部付近で固定され、
    該補助パッド組立体の自由な他端を反転させることによ
    り、該補助パッド組立体の上記主パッド組立体に重ねら
    れた位置がまた部に関し反対側の２つの位置の間で変換
    されるおむつ。
