。As a result of various studies, the present inventor heated solid waste mainly consisting of alkali salts used in heat treatment etc. to a temperature of 500°C or higher to make it into a molten state, and found that air and /Or by blowing oxygen gas, a gas-liquid phase reaction between cyanide and cyanide compounds and oxygen is carried out throughout the reaction vessel, and at the same time, the reaction rate is significantly improved by the stirring effect, so that cyanide and cyanide compounds are completely and They discovered that it can be safely oxidized and decomposed to make it non-toxic, and completed the present invention.
