The steel sleeve main body 1 has a puller 1a on one side of a large diameter part having the same outer diameter as the stranded wire R, and a small diameter part 1b protruding from the other side.An annular engagement groove is provided on the outer periphery of the small diameter part 1b. Also, a bottomed hole is bored into which the steel core wire W can be inserted along the axis from the small diameter side.

Further, there is a radial threaded hole in the large diameter portion, and the tip of the push screw 2 screwed into it is designed to bite into the steel core wire W inserted into the bottomed hole and temporarily fasten it.

The steel sleeve piece 3 is a gutter-like body capable of gripping the steel core wire W, and when gripped, leaves a sufficient interference between adjacent pieces to form a cylindrical shape with an outer diameter approximately equal to that of the stranded wire R. It's Nishide.

In addition, its length is such that it can be inserted between the end of the aluminum stranded wire and the main body 1, and an engaging edge 3a is provided on the inner diameter portion of one end so that it can be engaged with the annular retaining groove of the small diameter portion of the main body. .

This is because without this annular groove, the compressive force would spread to the front and back of the compressed location in the axial direction, weakening the gripping force at the location immediately below the compression.

The annular groove blocks the spread of these undesirable forces. The aluminum sleeve 5 spans the aluminum strand R, the steel sleeve piece 3, and the main body 1, and can be inserted into the aluminum sleeve 5. Due to its compression, the steel core wire is compressed by the steel sleeve piece 3. Enables W tightening.

A well-known method for clamping steel-core aluminum stranded wire is to first crimp a steel sleeve onto the steel core wire, then cover it with an aluminum sleeve and compress it again.

However, this method had drawbacks such as the fact that the steel sleeve was bent during the initial compression, making it difficult to insert it into the aluminum sleeve.

To solve this problem, a clamping method is known (Japanese Patent Publication No. 51-30676) in which the steel sleeve is not compressed and the aluminum sleeve is clamped only by compression.

However, recently, the diameter of steel-core aluminum stranded wire has become larger, and the diameter of the steel sleeve has also increased accordingly. Due to the elastic resistance at the slotted base, sufficient gripping force cannot be obtained by compressing the aluminum sleeve alone. A case is occurring.

In contrast, in the present invention, the main body and the steel sleeve piece are separate pieces, so the above-mentioned elastic resistance does not occur.

The compressive force applied to the aluminum sleeve directly acts as a gripping force on the steel core wire.

Similarly, since they are both separate pieces, an appropriate material can be selected for the steel sleeve piece 3 regardless of the material of the main body 1.

It is also possible to form a non-slip surface such as a file on the inner diameter of the steel sleeve piece 3 and harden it by quenching to increase the gripping force.

Further, even if the inner surface of the steel sleeve piece is formed to have the same radius so that it can be closely attached to the steel core wire, since the steel sleeve piece is divided into a plurality of parts, there is no problem in inserting the steel core wire.

In this respect, the above-mentioned known example had a disadvantage in that the inner diameter of the slotted portion had to be made somewhat larger than the outer diameter of the steel core wire in order to facilitate insertion of the steel core wire into the slotted portion.

As described above, the present invention is characterized in that by forming the steel sleeve into a plurality of gutter-like bodies, it is possible to retain or connect large-diameter electric wires, which was not easily possible with conventional structures.
