Various retroreflective fibers and methods for producing the same have been developed and provided in the past, but conventional retroreflective fibers themselves generally consist of a separately manufactured retroreflective sheet attached to a textile product. Therefore, there are problems such as poor texture as a textile product, lack of appearance and other features, and poor washing resistance.

The present invention was made with the object of obtaining a retroreflective sheet that has a rich texture as a textile product, has an excellent appearance, has wash resistance, and is designed to improve retroreflectivity of light.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention involves forming a metal-deposited surface using aluminum powder or the like on a film made of polyester, etc., applying a chemical-resistant adhesive to the metal-deposit surface, and then attaching it to a fiber or knitted material. When the film is completely adhered, the film is peeled off to obtain a fiber with the metal-deposited surface exposed, and then a transparent resin is applied to the surface of this textile product in advance to prevent resin liquid from seeping into the inside of the fiber. A thin layer is formed, and a paint containing beads such as transparent glass particles or plastic particles at a certain ratio is applied to the transparent film thus formed, and a resin layer containing the beads is applied. A retroreflective sheet is obtained by forming a transparent focus adjustment film on the resin layer according to the refractive index of the beads when the focal point of the beads reaches the metal vapor deposition surface. It is something.

A glittering metal-deposited surface 1 made of aluminum powder is formed on a polyester film, and a chemical-resistant adhesive 2, such as a two-component urethane resin, is applied to this metal-deposited surface 1, and then a fiber or knitted material is coated on the polyester film. The polyester film is attached to the fibers 3, and when it is completely adhered, the polyester film is peeled off, thereby obtaining a textile product in which the metal vapor-deposited surface 1 is exposed.

Next, in order to prevent resin liquid from seeping into the inside of the fibers, a very thin layer of transparent resin liquid, such as Ichizoku-type urethane resin, is applied on the surface of the textile product using a gravure roll or the like, and this is completely dried to make it transparent. A film 4 is formed.

After doing this, a paint in which beads 5 such as transparent glass particles, plastic particles, etc. are mixed in the same transparent resin liquid at a certain ratio is applied onto the transparent film 4 using a coating device such as a doctor knife or a roll coater. A resin layer 6 containing beads 5 is formed.

Next, beads 5 are placed on the resin layer 6 that includes the beads 5.
Further, a focusing film 7 made of transparent resin is applied using a coating device according to the refractive index of the film, and is completely dried to obtain a retroreflective sheet.

Since the retroreflective sheet obtained according to the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, light incident from an external light source passes through the transparent resin layer 7, and when it reaches the beads 5, is refracted and transmitted.
Then, the light that hits the metal vapor deposited surface 1 and is reflected is transmitted again in the opposite direction to the incident optical path and is retroreflected to an external light source.

Therefore, the retroreflective sheet obtained by the present invention is
Since the beads are placed directly on the metal-deposited surface, good retroreflectivity can be obtained even when using beads with a low refractive index, which has the effect of allowing the use of inexpensive beads. In addition, since the coating is applied directly to the fibers, it has a higher texture than conventional products, does not impair its appearance or physical properties, and has excellent washing resistance.Compared to conventional spraying methods, there is no loss of particles from scattering, and there is also no unevenness of the fibers. Since the beads are adhered along the lines, the angularity of the brightness is good, and various effects can be obtained, such as ease of operation as only a coater is required compared to the conventional method.
