For example, granular activated carbon is used in filters. Some methods have been proposed, such as a method in which activated carbon is made to exist in the filter element, and a method in which finely powdered activated carbon is deposited in a filter element, and although the above objective is quite satisfied, the present situation is far from improving the fragrance sensation.

After the fibers are opened, they are formed into a cylindrical body by running the outside of the ring guide in contact with each other, and are fed to the outer tube of the double conical tube and converged into a cylindrical web, and the core part is inserted into this cylindrical web. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing a sheath core type cigarette filter, which is characterized in that a fiber material is fed through a central pipe of a double conical pipe and then integrated.

After passing through the ring guides 4 and 5, it may be supplied to the central circular tubular part of the double conical tube.
When the fiber material for the core part needs to be opened, such as a tow, it is as shown in 11, and after being opened by the opening device 8, it is passed through the delivery roll 25, and then passed through the ring guides 4 and 5. It is fed into the central circular tubular section of the double conical tube.
