ある。Covers for protecting various types of cables, including electric wire cables, have been known for example, such as those coated with a paint film, those coated with a cloud, and those covered with a plastic cover. However, all of these have a short service life, require relatively large maintenance costs, and have poor appearance. Another example of a conventional product is a cable protection cover made by simply butt welding two tubular materials of the same size and shape on both sides, and then providing a flange section and tightening bolts to form a tube. Although it is proposed,
There are many points that need to be improved, such as the time required for assembly and the lack of visible appearance. The present invention solves the drawbacks of conventional products as described above, and is made by combining two elongated semi-tubular members having the same shape and size with special shaped side edges to form a polygonal shape. To provide a cable protection cover which has a tubular structure having a perfect circle or any other shape, and which is designed to grip and store a cable, and has a smart appearance and excellent durability. In other words, the gist is a protective cover that is attached to a cable by connecting the ends of a pair of semi-tubular metal members, with a hook-shaped protrusion on one end and an inner surface near the other end. A mutually fitting body formed by the above-mentioned hook-shaped protrusion and the fitting groove using a pair of metal semi-tubular members of the same shape and having a fitting groove, and an end portion of the pair of metal semi-tubular members formed. and two welded outward grooves,
The metal cable protection cover is characterized by the following:

ようにして行なう。Of these, the regular hexagonal one shown in Fig. 4 has corner portions 2 formed by flat inner surfaces 1a, 1b...1f.
a, 2b, . . . , 2f have curved surfaces approximately equal to the radius of the single wire cable 3, as shown. One end 7 of the semi-tubular member 1 is provided with a hook-shaped protrusion 5 having a protrusion 4 at the tip, and a fitting groove 6 corresponding to the protrusion 4 is provided on the inner surface near the other end 8. The ends of both ends 7 and 8 are formed into an outwardly tapered hook-shaped protrusion 5 and a fitting groove 6 are fitted together as shown in Figs. 2 and 4, forming a pair of halves of the same shape. When the tubular material 1 forms an interfit, the V-shaped, outwardly opening groove 10 serving as the weld tip also simultaneously connects the ends 7,
Two pieces are formed in each of the eight spaces. Such a semi-tubular member 1 is fitted with both ends facing each other in the longitudinal direction,
As shown in the cross section, the outer side forms a tubular body of, for example, an ellipse, a perfect circle, or a hexagon, and the inner side circumscribes and accommodates the circular cross-section cable 3. and metal 1 on groove 10
By welding 1, the pair of semi-tubular members are welded and firmly connected. The half-tubular material 1 may have a uniform wall thickness, but in order to reduce weight, the central portion 1s is made thinner, as shown in Fig. 2, so that when fitted, the inner periphery is a perfect circle and the outer periphery is an ellipse. Alternatively, in the case of forming a hexagonal tube, the flat surfaces 1a,
Only 1d has a thick wall, and the other flat surfaces 1b and 1c
, 1e, 1f may be made thin. The protective cover of the present invention having the above structure can be assembled, for example, as shown in FIGS. 5 to 7.

Fit while pressing. At this time, it is preferable that the semi-tubular members 1 to be fitted into each other are arranged so that their longitudinal ends are not aligned as shown in FIG. 5, but are staggered. The fitting machine 13 includes a pair of pressure rollers 12 and side rollers 14 that are integrally supported by a frame (not shown), and is moved by a self-propelled device (not shown) or a traction device (not shown). , the semi-tubular material 1 is pressed by a pressure roller 12. In order to fit them together, the lines connecting the rotational axis of the pressure roller 12 and the letter-shaped grooves 10 must be parallel to ensure smooth fitting, but the side rollers 14 shown in the figure are provided with protrusions 15. Therefore, the protrusion 15 rotates while being fitted into the groove 10, and the semi-tubular member 1 is always restrained in the correct position in the above relationship, so that it can be fitted smoothly. Of course, without using such a fitting machine 13, fitting may be performed by using a pair of anvils and applying pressure repeatedly at constant intervals.

すると極めて便利なものである。For example, as shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, welding involves a pair of side rollers 17 circumscribing the tube body 16, and a protrusion 1 that fits into the groove 10 while contacting the tube body 16 from a direction perpendicular to the side rollers 17.
A guide roller 19 with a groove 8 supporting the tube body 16 at a position facing the guide roller 19, and having a semicircular groove 20 in the center.
The back-up guide roller 21 with
6 is held and positioned, an arc is generated between the welding torch 22 and the tube body 16, and MIG welding is performed. The welding machine 23 having the various rollers and the welding torch 22 as described above moves the tube body 16 in the direction of the arrow in the direction of the arrow as shown in FIGS. Perform welding on one side in the manual direction. After the other side is welded in the same manner, the joint 24 at the longitudinal end of the semi-tubular member 1 is then welded manually or semi-automatically to complete the assembly. } In the example of the hexagonal tube shown in FIG.
It is not necessary to use the flat surface of the side surface. In this case, the fitting machine 1
3 and the structure of the welding machine 23 become simple. As described above, the present invention forms a mutually fitting body by fitting a pair of semi-tubular members of the same shape with a hook-shaped protrusion and a fitting groove, and utilizes the grooves formed at the same time. This is a pair of welded metal cable protection covers, which have the following advantages and are extremely convenient to use in cable installation.
