本発明は蓄電池内部で発生した酸素及び水素ガスを化合
せる触媒を内蔵した蓄電池用触媒栓に関するものである

却し凝縮せしめて水となし、蓄電池内へ還流させる所謂

る蓄電池の電槽蓋上面の面積が狭小なる場合や蓄電池据
付場所に高さの制限がある場合には、自ら栓体対置1も
それに制約をうけることになるので、触媒容器に応じ、
栓体対置1を増大したり、背高なものとすることができ
ず、上記の如き制約に対応することが難しかつた。なお
5は若干のガス流通孔6を有する支持板、7は栓体上蓋
8に設けた排気羽|9は蓄電池への螺着のための螺子部
である。本発明は上記の如き欠点を除去するものにして
、未反応ガスの逸出が少く、防爆フィルターを漏らすこ
となく遣水し、ガス反応効率を向上して流入ガス量に対
応して作用反応し、遣水せしめることができ、併も配設
場所の制約にも対応できる構造の蓄電池用触媒装置を提

池電槽上蓋の触媒装置装着口或いはアダプター等への螺
着のための螺子を刻設せしめる。24はガス流入口であ

水作用は従来構造のものと全く同じであるが、本発明に
おいては尖頭形状の触媒栓体外器を横方向に複数装着せ
しめることによつて、未反応ガスの逸出も少く、上部内
壁で凝結した水蒸気が防爆フイルタ一を漏らすことなく
内壁に沿つて流下するのでガス反応効率を向上し、而も
、流入ガス量の多寡に応じて栓体外器取付用ソケツト2
1に開設した取付口22,222にガス量に応じて単数
或いは複数とその時のガスの多寡によつて着脱自在とし
た触媒栓体を螺着せしめることができるのであつて、併
も筒体の栓体外器取付用ソケツト21の側周壁に取付け
るので、上方へ高く延長することなく、蓄電池電槽上蓋
と平行の横方向に延長されるだけであつて、モノプロツ
ク式蓄電池の如く、隣接して数セルに触媒栓を装着する
場合等横方向に矩形の電槽上蓋への装着に対応できるも
