解決する為に、端子台の側面に細溝を形成する一方取付
孔の近くには細いスリットを穿設し、このスリット15
に工具例えばドライバーの先を挿入し、更にこのドライ
バーを端子台に向けて押し動かす(一般にはドライバー
をねじる)ことによつてスリットと取付孔の間の金属材
を取付孔の内部方向へ突出させ、これを上記の細溝内に
嵌入させる方法も考え20られている。しかしながらこ
のような方法にあつては、変形する金属材によつて端子
台が壊れることは防止し得るものの、ドライバーをねじ
る、即ちドライバーの先端を端子台の側に向けて力を加
えるという操作を含んでいる為、ドライバーをねじる力
が過大であつたりすると、そのドライバーが端子台に当
つてしまい、このドライバーによつて端子台を壊してし
まう危険を有する欠点がある。そこで本発明は上述のよ
うな点を解決するようにしたもので、端子台の側とは異
なる向き即ち保30特休の板厚方向へのみ力を加えて作
業を行なうことにより、合成樹脂材あるいは陶磁器材で
作られた弱い端子台であつてもこれを壊すことなく保持
体への取付作業ができるようにした端子台の取付方法を
提供しようとするものである。以下例図に35つき実施
例の構成を説明する。金属製の板状基体1において、2
は保持体、2aはその両端に備えさせる埋込箱取付部、
2bは折り曲げて形成した板状の袖部を示す。保持体2
には、後述の端子台4を取付けるための方形の取付孔3
が穿設されている。陶磁器材、合成樹脂材等の絶縁材で
