結着させる式を一般としたもので金型等の設備が増大し
生産性が不良である不都合を伴う。本発明はかゝる不都
合のない方法を提供することをその目的としたもので、
フロントホーク、ボトムパイプその他の車体枠に、ブレ
ーキディスクの両側にある各半部からなるキヤリパ本体
を、その本体の一方の半部と他方の半部とがそれぞれ前
記車体枠の一側と他側とに突設するように車体枠と一体
に形成せしめ該各半部を機械加工した後その一方の半部
を車体枠から切断分離し、該分離された一方の半部を前
記他方の半部と重合結着してキヤリパ本体を形成させた
ことを特徴とする。

1図はその状態を示すもので、この場合両半部2、2は
その各一側の開口面3、3が同じ向きに互に略同一平面
上に存するものとし、次で各半部2、2に所定の機械加
工を施した後、その一方の半部2、例えば図示のもので
は後面の半部2を図面に斜線入りで示すその根部の接続
部4において切断その他により車体枠1と分離し、次で
この半部2を前面の半部2と前記した開口面3、3にお
いて互に対向させて重合し、これらに挿通する螺子5で
互に結着して両半部2、2により1個のキヤリパ本体を
構成させる。この場合そめ内部には第2図及び第3図に
明示するようにブレーキディスク6の両外側の左右1対
のパッドT、Tとその両外側の左右1対のピストン8、
8とを嵌合支承させるもので、かくて両ピストン8、8
がその両外側の室9、9内に圧油を作用されて互に内方
に押圧されたとき両バッド7,7はこれに押されて互に
内方に閉じてブレーキディスク6が挟圧されるようにし
た。尚図示のものでは左右のバッド7,7はその両外側
の支持板10,10に支承されると共に該板10,10
の上部において横方向のボルトから成る案内杆11に嵌
合されてこれに沿つて摺動されるようにした。このよう
に本発明によるときは車体枠の形成に際しその1側と他
側とにキヤリパ本体の両半部を一体に突出するものに形
成し次でその一方を分離して他方と組合せて1個のキヤ
リパ本体を作るもので、車体枠とキヤリパ本体或は更に
該本体の両半部を各別に鋳造し次で機械加工した後互に
組立てる従来方式に比し車体枠の金型で車体枠とキヤリ
パ本体の各半部を製造できるので金型等の設備の増大が
なく、作業を簡単且高能率にする等の効果を有する。
