The present invention relates to an end yarn processing device that prevents end cutter gripping errors of remaining yarn and related temple cutter cutting errors that occur when changing tubes in a tube changing loom. It is designed to ensure that residual threads and broken threads can be suctioned out. In general, in tube changing looms that use an upper groove type shuttle, due to the structure of the yarn groove of the shirttle and the front plate of the shuttle box, the remaining yarn may jump out from the yarn groove or the shuttle box before being grasped by the end cutter, which prevents end cutter mistakes. It happened frequently. This also causes errors in the temple cutter, resulting in entanglement with ring breaks or broken threads in the remaining yarn, or other phenomena in which cut ends are entangled in the cloth surface. Furthermore, the broken threads pulled out from the new wire tube during the tube change operation are
Since the posture is unstable, it is necessary to suction and grasp it with a suction pipe as soon as possible. However, since this broken yarn is located at a higher position than the end yarn in the shirttle upper groove, it is difficult to suction and hold the yarn breakage and the end yarn in the shirttle upper groove with a single suction pipe, etc. using conventional suction pipe devices. Met. In order to remove the two end yarns (the broken yarn and the remaining yarn in the upper groove) with one suction pipe, the diameter of the vibro is made thicker.
This weakens the suction force, requires a large amount of air, and does not allow the center of the pipe to face the target end yarn. In addition, in the bottom groove type shirttle, the distance between the two ends of the yarn is large, and it is not possible to suction the yarn ends of both pieces with one suction pipe. In view of the above situation, the present invention suspends a suction pipe on the side of the end cutter via a link mechanism, and when changing the pipe, the center of the suction port of the suction pipe is moved in conjunction with the end cutter in an arcuate trajectory according to the rotation radius of the link. The upper edge of the suction port of the suction pipe is moved forward and lowered to the front of the thread groove to quickly suction and grip the weft in the thread groove, ensuring that the end cutter subsequently grips the remaining yarn, and returns to the standby position. The suction pipe moves back and up to the height where the broken thread, which is gripped by the gripper member at one end, crosses the thread in an arcuate trajectory, and this suction pipe successfully suctions and grips the broken thread quickly and reliably, eliminating temple cutter errors. be. In the embodiment shown in the drawings, 1 is a lace, with a lead 2 on the trailing edge.
A shuttle box 6 consisting of a front side plate 3, a shell 4, and a flyback 5 is provided at the side end. A wide notch 3a is cut into the front side plate 3. 7 is a shuttlecock housed in a shuttle box, which is launched by a picker 8 and flies over the lace, pulls out a weft 10 from a built-in woodwind 9, inserts it into the opening of a warp row 11, and then transfers this weft 10 to a lead 2. is driven into the weaving opening to weave the woven fabric 12. Shirttle 7 has a thread groove 13 cut in the upper part of the front and is an upper groove type.
It has a recess 15 near the right end of the front surface near the eye 14, and a woodwind ring 16 is held between the holders 17. Reference numeral 18 denotes an end cutter pivotally connected to the sliding rod 20, which operates in synchronization with a shirttle filler (not shown), and moves forward while opening its cutting edge to enter the recess 15 of the shirttle when changing the tube.
When the stopper 21 screwed onto the protrusion 19 of the sliding rod is pushed by the race 1, it retreats and closes the cutting edge. The sliding rod 20 engages with a holding frame 24 attached to a bracket 23 screwed onto the right end of a base shaft 22 attached to the machine frame.
The slide arm 25 is connected to the elongated hole 25a by a pin 20a, which is activated by the engagement of a latch and a bank (not shown), and the end cutter 18 is normally moved to the standby position E1 as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
It is retreating to. The slide arm 25 has its top supported by a support shaft 26 at the rear end of the bracket 23 . The above configuration is the same as that of a known tube changing loom. Next, according to the present invention, 30 is an inverted suction pipe,
Support shafts 31 and 32 attached to the front end and center of the bracket 23
Suction port 3
0a is facing toward the shuttle. A spring 35 is wound around the support shaft 31 and applies a slight forward force to the suction pipe 30. Reference numeral 36 is a connecting rod connecting the pivot portion 25b of the slide arm 25 and the lower end of the support arm 34. A spring 38 is interposed between the collar 37 and the pivot portion 25b, and the forward force of the slide arm 25 is elastically applied to the suction pipe 30. It is transmitted to. As mentioned above, the suction port 30a of the suction pipe 30 linked and connected by the support arms 33 and 34 is attached to the cutter 1 on the left side of the end cutter 18 when the slide arm 25 is retracted.
It is in a waiting position with the tile protruding from the tip of the shuttlecock 8 (approximately aligned with it) and its lower edge facing the top of the shirttle 7 and the road surface. The upper edge of the suction port is in a position where the upper edge of the suction port is opposed to the upper edge of the suction port. Further, as shown in Fig. 3, the center of the suction port 30a that acts to pull in the suction pipe 30 is in the position where the slide arm is advanced, and the thread of the shuttlecock 7 is on an arcuate locus e with the support arms 33 and 34 of the link mechanism as the rotation radius. The relationship between the link lengths of the support arms 33 and 34 that move forward and downward toward the front surface of the groove 13 is set. The gap X between the suction 30a of the suction pipe 30 and the front wall of the shuttlecock 7 is set by an adjustment screw 30c attached to the bottom of the suction pipe, and the screw 30c is pushed against the front plate 3' as the race moves forward. Configure. The invention works as follows. Now, when the weft 10 of the shuttlecock is exhausted and a pipe change command is issued, the end cutter 18 opens its blade in the forward direction and waits at the forward position shown in FIG. 4, while the suction pipe 30
moves forward along an arcuate trajectory e through the link mechanisms of the support arms 33 and 34, protrudes ahead of the end cutter 18, and waits. After this race 1 is located

When approaching [0], the shirttle 7 enters the shuttle box 6, and the suction port 30a of the protruding suction pipe quickly catches the weft 10 in the thread groove 13 at its center, and the weft 10 is loosened by the spring return of the shirttle. deal with. After that, when the shuttlecock 7 is placed in the shuttle box 6, the front surface of the race 1 will soon hit the stopper 21 along the solid line (CI) in Figure 3 (dashed line in Figures 1 and 2), and the end cutter 18 will open its cutting edge. \Enter Shattor's recess 15. Immediately after this, when the race 1 moves forward to (n), the end cutter 18 begins to close its cutting edge, and there is a gap X between it and the shuttlecock.
The cutting edge closes while grasping the weft thread 10 while retreating together with the suction pipe, which has begun to retreat while maintaining the weft. Cut the weft thread 10 securely in the recess of the shirt handle 7 up to the [■] position (front dead center) of the lace 1, and hold the cut end 10' as shown in Fig. 1 (this is called the remaining thread). The remaining yarn 10' is stationary at the lower edge of the suction port 30a of the suction pipe 30 that has returned along the trajectory e to the standby position where it cannot prevent the flight of the shirttle 7, and is placed in a temple cutter (not shown) at the fabric edge. On the other hand, when the lace 1 is moved forward to the front put center, the suction pipe 300 prevents the thread from flying with its strong suction force. The yarn portion is gripped by the suction port 30a, which does not move, and is cut by suction together with the remaining yarn 10' after waiting for the operation of the temple cutter at the fabric edge. A guide groove 30b for receiving the weft yarn 10 may be cut in the opening 30a. Also, the cross-sectional shape of the pipe 30 may have a flat bottom as shown in FIG. 6. Furthermore, the installation location of the suction pipe 30 may be End cutter 1
The slide arm 2 may be provided at the outer edge of the slide arm 8 to suck the weft thread 10 across the eye 14 and the recess 15.

can be omitted. According to the present invention, two support arms are pivotally supported in the front and back direction of the bracket, and the suction pipe is supported in a horizontal position at the lower end thereof and linked to the side of the end cutter, and the suction port of the suction pipe is connected to the side of the end cutter. The slide arm and the link mechanism are connected by a connecting rod so as to be approximately aligned with the tip of the end cutter, and when the suction pipe is in the retracted position, the lower edge of the suction port is opposed to the top of the shirt bolt, and the upper edge of the suction port is cut. The link of the support arm is arranged so as to face the transverse height position, and has a rotation radius such that the center of the suction port of the suction pipe moves forward and downward in an arcuate path to the front of the thread groove of the shuttlecock in conjunction with the end cutter when changing the pipe. Since it is set to a long length, one suction pipe can quickly suction and grip the weft yarn in the yarn groove, and the end cutter can subsequently grip the remaining yarn. It has the effect of quickly and reliably suctioning and gripping broken threads, eliminating temple cutter errors, and completely disposing of old threads and broken threads that occur when changing pipes.
