A fixed spring 6 is installed opposite to the movable spring 5. Contacts 5a and 6a are fixed to these springs 5 and 6, respectively, facing each other. This is a so-called normally open type reading spring which is displaced to the right by the restoring force of the movable spring 5 and closes the contacts 5a and 6a when a hole is detected.

Since the conventional device has the above-mentioned configuration, even if the reading contacts 5a and 6a have a contact failure due to adhesion of dust or oil, the reading will continue as is, which may cause erroneous reading. There was a flaw that caused it. In order to eliminate these drawbacks, the present invention uses a so-called normally closed type contact for reading detection, and when the contact is in a normal state, a monitoring pulse is applied in advance to confirm contact continuity, and then reading is performed. The drawings will be described in detail below.

The same parts in FIG. 2 as in FIG. 1 are given the same reference numerals. In FIG. 2, reference numeral 11 denotes a movable spring, and a fixed spring 12 is provided opposite to the movable spring 11, and contacts 11a and 12a are fixed to these springs 11 and 12, respectively, facing each other. The movable spring 11 is pushed to the left by the other end 4c of the pin lever 14, and when the lead pin 2 detects a hole in the perforation tape or card 1, it is pushed to the right by the restoring force of the movable spring 11. This is a normally closed type reading spring with a structure in which the contact points 11a and 12a open when the contact point 11a and 12a are displaced. Next, the operation of the present invention will be explained using FIGS. 2, 3, and 4.

Now, in the state shown in FIG. 2, in which the punch tape or card 1 is sent to the reading unit by a feeding mechanism (not shown) and the reading contacts 11a and 12a are closed and energized, a reading start pulse is applied. When A is input, contact monitoring pulse generator 2
A contact monitoring pulse B is generated from 1, and the contact monitoring pulse B is connected to a set cam drive circuit 22 and an AND gate 23.
It becomes the input to. At this time, the read contacts 11a, 12a are in the closed state, and if there is no contact failure, the 0R gate output of the 0R gate 24 from the read contacts 11a, 12a is "O".Therefore, the input to the AND gate 23 Since the contact monitoring pulse B is [1] and the 0R gate output C is "0", the AND gate output D is "O", that is, there is no contact failure, and the reset cam drive circuit 22 operates and the reset cam Drive pulse E causes reset cam 8 to rotate shaft 8.
Rotate around a. When the other end 7c of the reset lever 7 reaches the trough of the set cam 8, one end 7b1 of the reset lever 7 rotates around the shaft 7a due to the tensile force of the lever spring 9, and the other end 7c moves to the trough of the set cam 8. It comes into contact with the valley of. Therefore, depending on whether or not there is a hole in the perforation tape or the card 1, the other end 4c of the pin lever 4 is connected to the movable spring 1.
Pushed to the right by the restoring force of the lead pin 2, the lead pin 2 is displaced in the pin guide 3, and the contacts 11a and 12a are turned on and off, thereby detecting the presence or absence of a perforation, and inserting the perforation table or Card 1 can be read. After reading is completed, the reset cam 8 rotates and the reset lever 7
When the other end 7c comes into contact with the peak of the set cam 8 and returns to the state shown in FIG. The above operation is repeated. Furthermore, during reading, the 0R gate output C of the 0R gate 24 from the reading contacts 11a and 12a becomes [1], but at this time, the contact monitoring pulse B is "o", so the AND gate output D is "0".
” and has no effect on the set cam drive circuit 22. Furthermore, before starting the reading operation in FIG. 2, the reading contact 11a
, 12a, the read contact 11a,
The 0R gate output C of the 0R gate 24 from 12a is [1
”, and when the reading start pulse is input in this state, the contact monitoring pulse B is “1” and the AND gate 23 is opened, and the AND gate output D1, that is, the contact fault signal is output. The excitation of the reset cam drive circuit 22 is stopped and the continuation of the reading operation is stopped. As explained above, according to the present invention, the above-mentioned normally closed contact is used as the reading contact, and a monitoring pulse is applied in advance every time the reading is recycled, and the reading is performed after confirming the continuity of the contact. This has a great effect in preventing misreading.
