スタンド3、サイジングスタンド4、シェービングスタ
ンド5等のスタンド群が、基礎コンクリート上に固定さ
れた1個あるいは数個のベース6上に設置されて構成さ
れている。

ルが引出され、同時に積載される。横行組替台車14上
にスタンドより引出された旧ロール15を積載した状態
を第6図に示す。第6図において横行組替台車14は製
造ラインと平行に敷設された横行用レール16上に設置
され製造ラインと平行に移動が可能である。横行組替台
車14の移動は横行組替シリンダー17により成される
。第6図の状態より製造ラインと平行にスタンド間隔の
半分ほど横行組替台車14を移動させた状態が第7図で
ある。第7図において横行組替台車14の凹部と縦行組
替台車18の凸部とが嵌り合う位置関係となる。縦行組
替台車18の凸部には台車上に設置されたレール土に新
ロール19が積載されている。また、縦行組替台車18
は製造ラインと垂直に移動可能であり、縦行組替シリン
ダー20により成される。縦行組替台車18が第7図の
状態より移動し、横行組替台車14の凹部と縦行組替台
車18の凸部とが嵌り合つた状態が第8図であるだ第8
図の状態より、縦行組替台車18に積載された新ロール
19を第4図に示した組替用シリンダー12により、ス
タンド内に引き込むことにより新旧ロールの組替が完了
する。以上のように前記実施態様によれば、ロール組替
に要する時間が大幅に短縮するため、生産量を大幅に増
大させることができる。また、新ロールはロール組替前
の準備段階においては、縦行組替台車上に積載された状
態で待機しているため、スタンド群の並ぶ圧延ライン土
の横に設置された横行組替台車上は人が自由に歩くこと
が可能で、圧延作業に支障をきたさない。
