一方の移動装置cの台車34に搬出させると共に他方の
移動装置cの台車34Aに載置した金型274を搬入さ
せる。(第5図へ参照)該金型274によるプレス作業
中に一方の移動装置cの台車34を後退させ、該台車3
4に載置した、金型271を載置したボルスタ13をキ
ヤリア駆動装置bに連結させる。(第5図卜参照)次に
プレス作業を終えた使用済みの金型274を他方の移動
装置cの台車34Aに搬出させると共に、一方の移動装
置cの台車34に載置した金型271を搬入させる。(

載置した、金型272を載置したボルスタ13をキヤリ
ア駆動装置bに連結させる。(第5図イ参照)以上述べ
たように本発明によれば、一基で複数の金型を使用する
ようになしたプレス機において、該プレス機の両側に複
数の金型を、該プレス機に沿つて前後移動可能に配設す
ると共に、上記プレス機のベツドに、上記左右の金型を
該プレス機内に搬入、搬出させるキヤリア駆動装置を左
右方向に移動可能に配設し、プレス機内の金型交換の搬
出、搬入を上記キヤリア駆動装置により同時に行い、か
つ、プレス作業中にはプレス機外の左右の金型を適宜前
後移動させ、次のプレス機内への搬入態勢を整えておく
ことができるので、金型交換時間を大巾に短縮すること
ができ、プレス加工の稼働率を向上させることができる
ため、毎回異なつたワークの生産ラインには不可欠な方
式である。

形後上型をスライドから外しそのまま金型を搬送するこ
とにより上型の上昇、下降の回数を減らすこともできプ
レス加工時間も更に短縮されるので、上記金型交換方法
と合せて行えば、より一層プレス加工の稼働率を向上さ
せることができる等の効果を有するものである。
