It was no longer possible to process the classification by machine without reducing the printing speed.

This is a fatal setback for newspaper printing, which prioritizes speedy reporting. however,
The number of copies ordered from newsagents cannot necessarily be machine processed2
It is not necessarily a multiple of 5, and most cases involve a fraction. Therefore, conventionally, in order to respond to an order of 135 copies, for example, the following steps were taken: (1) 6 constant bundles of 25 copies and 150 copies, or (2) 5 constant bundles of 25 copies and the rest. One fractional bundle of 10 copies was created and supplied by hand.

にある。On the other hand, in (2) above, it is possible to eliminate the needless supply of copies, but at the cost of this, there is a waste of human time in which workers break bundles of constant 25 copies and manually create fractional bundles. I had a problem that I couldn't avoid. As an alternative to solve the above problem, the number of copies ordered, including odd copies, for example, 1.
The number of 35 copies is not divided into 25 copies each, but it is 135 copies at once.
One idea is to pile up a large bundle of parts and transport them. However, that idea is impossible for the following reasons. In other words, for example, folded printed matter such as newspapers has different thicknesses between the folded side and the terminal end, so it is impossible to stack them in the same direction, and the number of copies that can be stacked at one time is 24 pages of newspapers. 30 copies in case of
In the case of a 12-page newspaper, the maximum number of copies is 60, and any more will cause the load to collapse. Therefore, to create a large bundle of 61 copies of a 24-page newspaper, for example, you would normally need two small bundles of constant 25 copies and a fraction of 1.
It is necessary to stack one small bundle of one part in three tiers in different directions and carry it out while preventing the cargo from collapsing. It is an object of the present invention to automatically machine process a bundle of fractional printed matter, for which there was no other way than to separate and create them manually, at the same time as a fixed bundle of printed matter, by combining them in the process of creating them. The purpose of the present invention is to create and provide a highly efficient automatic creation method for fractional bundles that eliminates the above steps.

If we produce a fraction in a roundabout way as the remaining number of copies resulting from the combination of two divisions using a sorting means, that is, a constant and a larger number of copies that can be machine processed,
Focusing on the fact that automatic mechanical processing is possible, we first sorted the number of copies corresponding to the sum of the constant and the fraction using the first sorting device, and then used the second sorting and advance switching device installed downstream. The related operation is performed when a portion of the number of copies corresponding to a constant number passes through, and the remaining number of copies, that is, the number of copies corresponding to a fraction, is switched and introduced into a separate counter stacker.

Since we have made it possible by combining the following, we can immediately and accurately produce and supply large bundles of the ordered number of copies, even for orders that include odd quantities, without the need for any manpower and only by machine processing. As a result, conventional waste has been eliminated to a large extent, making it possible to supply printed matter in an extremely efficient manner.
