In many cases, the material is immediately conveyed from the developing bath via a crossover roller to the fixing bath, where development is stopped and fixing is performed to dissolve unexposed silver halide.

The state is the same as that of a physical developer containing a silver halide solvent,
There is a problem in that undeveloped silver halide dissolves and is reduced by the developer, resulting in uneven development. Moreover, this...
- The finer the grains of silver halide, the faster the dissolution rate, and therefore, uneven development is more likely to occur. Furthermore, when the photosensitive material passes through the crossover roller and enters the fixing bath, the alkaline developer contained in and attached to the photosensitive material undergoes a neutralization reaction with the acidic fixer, becoming acidic and stopping the developing function. However, at this time, at the contact boundary between the developer contained in the photosensitive material and the fixer in the fixer, the mixing reaction between the developer and fixer adhering to the photosensitive material is partially slow or fast. In addition, there is also the problem that the flow of the fixer that moves due to liquid circulation and roller rotation is not necessarily uniform, resulting in uneven development stoppage.
The above-mentioned problems can be solved by using a photosensitive material discharged from a developing bath, as illustrated in FIGS. This has been a particularly serious problem in conventional photographic processing apparatuses.The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and to eliminate the problem in that the photosensitive material containing and adhering to the developer is removed before it enters the fixing bath. An object of the present invention is to provide a photographic processing method and apparatus which uniformly and sufficiently stop the development and then perform the stop processing.In order to achieve the above object, the present invention sequentially performs the development processing, the fixing processing, and the fixing processing. In photographic processing, the photosensitive material in the process from the development tank to the fixing tank is brought into contact with a liquid film layer created by jetting a large amount of fixer onto the roller surface, and the liquid film contains the components contained in the photosensitive material.・This is a photographic processing method characterized by uniformly reacting with the attached developer to stop development, and then fixing in a fixing tank. In a photographic processing apparatus, a roller is provided at a position where the photosensitive material from the development tank to the fixing tank contacts the liquid surface of the fixing tank before reaching the liquid level of the fixing tank, and the photosensitive material in the roller The photographic processing apparatus is characterized in that a liquid supply means is provided for jetting the fixing liquid to the roller from the opposite side of the contact point with the roller, so that a fixing liquid film can be formed on the surface of the roller.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 3 is a side view of essential parts of an X-ray photographic film processing apparatus showing one embodiment of the present invention;
In the fixing tank 2 adjacent to the developer tank 1, there is a roller 3, which is entirely immersed in the fixing bath, and which has a larger diameter than this roller 3 and is in rolling contact with the roller 3, most of which is outside the bath. A roller 4 is provided with a nozzle vibrator 5 that sprays a fixing liquid fed by a pump (not shown) to the roller 4 .

液を噴射すると良い。A fresh liquid film is always formed on the surface of this roller 4 by the fixer jetted from the nozzle vibe 5. Since the continuous developing action is uniformly stopped, the above-mentioned uneven development and uneven development stop, which have been problems with conventional processing apparatuses, do not occur. The positions of the rollers 3 and 4 can be modified in various ways as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6. Figure 4,
Fig. 5 shows a case where the roller 3 is arranged so that a part or most of it comes out of the liquid, and Fig. 6 shows a case where the roller 3 is arranged so that it comes completely out of the liquid. As shown in FIG. 6, when the roller 3 protrudes to the outside of the liquid, spraying the fixing liquid onto the roller 3 from the nozzle vibe 5a is effective in preventing unevenness. When the rollers 3 and 4 have substantially the same diameter and their relative positions are parallel to each other in a substantially horizontal direction as shown in FIG. 7, it is preferable to inject the fixing liquid to each roller from a nozzle vibrator.

In order to form this, it is preferable to position it on the opposite side to the rotational direction of the roller when viewed from the upper apex of the roller. In order to prevent the sprayed fixer from directly hitting the film, it is preferable to provide a shielding plate between the nozzle vibe 5 and the film. The relative positional relationship, size, etc. between the rollers 3 and 4 are determined by the type, thickness, stiffness, film conveyance speed, etc. of the film.
