Conventionally, this type of electronic wristwatch has been constructed, for example, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, respectively. That is, 1 is the above-mentioned housing, 2 is a lower housing, and the housing of the electronic wristwatch is constituted by the combination of these. A liquid crystal panel 4 for digitally displaying time, date, etc. is fitted into the fitting hole 3 of the housing 1 and is supported by a presser member (not shown). External lead-out terminals of the liquid crystal panel 4 are provided on both sides of the lower surface of the liquid crystal panel 4, and these terminals are connected to a circuit board 6 separately arranged on the lower surface of the liquid crystal panel 4 via an interconnector 5. It is electrically connected to terminal 7. The bottom surface of the circuit board 6 includes an LSI package 8, a crystal resonator 9, a silver oxide battery 10, and a temperature compensation capacitor 1.
1. Electronic components such as a trimmer capacitor 12 are attached. And this crystal oscillator 9, silver oxide battery 10
, the trimmer capacitor 12 is inserted into each receiving hole 13, 14, 15 of the lower housing 2, respectively. Thus, the upper housing 1, the circuit board 6, and the lower housing 2 are fixed with screws or the like (not shown) while the liquid crystal panel 4 and the circuit board 6 are interposed between the terminals of the interconnector 5. It is. However, such conventional LSI packages8,
A circuit board is required to mount the crystal oscillator 9 and other electronic components, as well as to electrically connect each component.
As the number of components increases, the electrical connections of electronic components are made indirectly through pattern wiring on the circuit board, so there is no inconvenience if the pattern wiring is disconnected when installing electronic components. This resulted in unfavorable workability and reliability.

Moreover, since the electronic components are attached to the lower surface of the circuit board 6, that is, in the thickness direction, the thickness increases, which poses a problem in making the circuit board thinner. The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and includes: part (5) a small electronic device that has a small number of parts, allows easy and reliable mounting of electronic components, improves workability and reliability, and can be made particularly thin; This provides a structure for arranging electronic components.

In this way, it is not necessary to provide a special circuit board for attaching electronic components and making electrical connections, and the number of parts is small, which is suitable for workability and mass production. It also has excellent reliability because the electronic components are connected directly to the terminals of the LS package without any connection.

As described above, according to the arrangement structure of electronic components according to the present invention, a battery is arranged on one side in the longitudinal direction of an LSI package, a crystal resonator is arranged on the other side, and a crystal resonator is arranged on one side in the lateral direction of the LSI package. Since other components are arranged and each component is connected to a terminal extending horizontally from the peripheral side of the LSI package, a circuit board is not required and the number of components can be reduced. Not only is it suitable for workability and mass production, but it is also highly reliable because it is not connected indirectly through pattern wiring or the like.
