Specifically, by sliding both carriages 8° 23 in one direction, the base yarn T1 is transferred to the main knitting needle (hereinafter referred to as the rear main knitting needle 2X) at the knitting preparation position X involved in knitting the fabric. The colored yarn T2 is supplied to the main knitting needles at needle selection position Y (hereinafter referred to as front main knitting needles 2Y) to knit stitches together, while the carriage sliding direction is applied to each of the front and rear main knitting needles 2Y and 2X. The base thread T1 and the colored thread T2 are supplied to each of the sub-line needles (hereinafter referred to as 6Y and 6X) adjacent to the rear side to knit two stitches at the same time, and among the two stitches, each sub-line needle is Line needle 6Y,
The front and rear main knitting needles 2Y adjacent to 6X as described above
, 2X is made to expose only one stitch made of the same knitting yarn as the knitting yarn of the stitch knitted on the knitted fabric surface, and as shown in Fig. 4, the knitting on the main knitting needle side The pattern shape is made to appear in an orderly manner on the ground, and the outline of the same pattern shape is blurred and appears in substantially the same state on the knitted surface on the side of the sub-line needle.

Therefore, when organizing the next course, both carriages 8 and 23
When the front and rear main knitting needles slide in the opposite direction, the knitting action is performed in exactly the same manner as described above, but the secondary line needles move backward in the sliding direction of the carriage relative to the front and rear main knitting needles. Sub-line needles adjacent to the sides (i.e., sub-line needles adjacent to the opposite side of the sub-line needle 6Y to the front main knitting needle 2Y, and sub-line needles adjacent to the opposite side of the sub-line needle 6X to the rear main knitting needle 2X) ), the knitting action is carried out in exactly the same manner as described above.

[Effects] As described in detail above, the present invention provides hooks for the main knitting needles in one of the main knitting needles that are involved in knitting a knitted fabric, each of which is once advanced to the flat removal position and then sorted into the front and back positions. A knitting yarn is supplied to the hook of the main knitting needle at the other position, and another knitting yarn is supplied to the hook of the main knitting needle at the other position, and both of the main knitting needles are retreated to the knockover position to knit one stitch for each knitting yarn. At the same time, each sub-line needle located correspondingly between each of the main knitting needles involved in knitting the knitted fabric is once advanced to the flattening position and then retreated so that its hooks are connected to the hooks of the main knitting needles that are in the process of retreating. The tubular knitting yarn is supplied to the hook at a time substantially corresponding to the direction in which the knitting needles are arranged, and at a time when the hook is placed immediately below the hook of the main knitting needle due to the continued retreat of the sub-line needle. , among the tubular knitting yarns in the hook, the same knitting yarn as the knitting yarn knitted by the main knitting needles adjacent to the predetermined left and right sides of the secondary line needles that received the tubular knitting yarns is used from other knitting yarns. is placed inside the hook along with other knitting yarns so that it is located on the main knitting needle side, and in that state, the subline needle is further retreated to the knockover position to knock over the old knitting opening on the subline needle. By simultaneously knitting two stitches using the tubular knitting yarn, one of the two stitches is knitted using the same knitting yarn as the stitch knitted by the main knitting needles adjacent to the predetermined left and right sides. Since only the stitches are exposed on the surface of the knitted fabric, the color scheme and shape of the braided structure made of each knitting yarn exposed on one side of the knitted fabric can be maintained in approximately the same state and the outline of the shape. It is possible to blur only the knitted fabric and make it appear on the other side of the knitted fabric.
Depending on preference, purpose of use, etc., both sides of the knitted fabric can be used as desired, especially while keeping the pattern shape the same.

[Scope of Claims] 1. A sub-needle bed is provided in front of a main needle bed in which a large number of main knitting needles are arranged in a row, and each sub-needle bed is provided with a plurality of main knitting needles arranged at the same pitch as the arrangement pitch of the main knitting needles. In a method of knitting a double-sided knitted fabric, a large number of sub-line needles are arranged in a corresponding relationship between the main knitting needles, and knitting yarn is supplied to the main knitting needles and the sub-line needles to knit the double-sided knitted fabric. Then, among the main knitting needles involved in knitting the knitted fabric, each of the main knitting needles is advanced to the position and sorted into two positions, front and back. By supplying different knitted fabrics to the respective hooks and retracting their main knitting needles together to the knockover position, knitting one stitch for each of the knitting yarns and simultaneously participating in the knitting of the knitted fabric. The time when the sub-line needles located correspondingly between each of the main knitting needles are advanced to the flat extraction position and then retreated so that their hooks approximately correspond to the hooks of the main knitting needles that are in the middle of retraction and the direction in which the knitting needles are arranged. Then, the circular knitting yarn is fed to the hook, and when the hook is positioned directly below the hook of the main knitting needle by the continued retraction of the sub-line needle, the circular knitting yarn in the hook is Among them, the same knitting yarn as the knitting yarn knitted by the main knitting needles adjacent to the predetermined left and right sides of the sub-line needles supplied with the circular knitting yarn is placed closer to the main knitting needle than other knitting yarns. In this state, the sub-line needle is further retreated to the knockover position to knock over the old knitting opening on the sub-line needle, and the circular knitting yarn is placed inside the hook together with other knitting yarns. By simultaneously knitting two stitches, only the stitches made of the same knitting yarn as the knitting yarn of the stitches knitted by the main knitting needles adjacent to the left and right sides are exposed on the surface of the knitted fabric. A method of knitting a double-sided knitted fabric, characterized in that the knitted fabric is made to bulge out.
