かしながら上述した従来の方法はいずれも、構成部材が
加熱されるため、素材の熱変化による強度低下が生じた
り、接合部材あるいは結合作業が複雑であるので生産効
率が悪いという欠点があつた。

パイプにより成形した二輪車用フレームの素材管Aを示
すもので、1はその略直線的な直状部、2は上方膨出部
、3は下方膨出部、4は上下膨出部側の素材管の押圧端
部である。本発明においては第1図に示すように、管の
一端部において上下に膨出部2、3を設けた素材管Aを
使用し、その上方膨出部2の天板部2aを第2図に示す
ようにドリル5により穿孔し、この孔6内に第3図に示
すように上ワンTを圧入してヘッド部の上部ベアリング
保持部を形成し、下方膨出部3の底板部3aを同じ<穿
孔し、この孔8に下ワン9を圧入してヘッド部の下部ベ
アリング保持部を形成し、この上下膨出部2、3側の素
材管Aの押圧端部4を第2図のX−X線において切断し
てヘッド部10を形成すると共に、このヘッド部10に
接続する反対側の素材管Aの直状部1をメインフレーム
として二輪車用フレームを一体に形成する。第4図は押
圧端部4を切断した切断開口部11を遮蔽するように装
飾板または銘板12を接着した実施例を示すもので、第
5図は二輪車のプレーキ用ワイヤあるいはデイレーラ一
用ワイヤ等のワイヤ13を切断開口部11からメインフ
レーム1に挿通したものである。

よる事故の心配もなく、接合部に介在するラック等も必
要としないので、車体重量を著しく軽減することができ
るという効果が得られる。また前方に開口した切断面は
、銘板12等で遮蔽することもでき、この銘板12も従
来のように曲面部に対する接着ではなく、平面に対して
貼着すればよいから作業が容易となる。
