DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to resistance welding in which welding is performed using protrusions.

The surface of this protrusion is smooth, and is either the same as the surface of the material or smoother than the surface of the material when it hits the press die. In the welding process, which is performed by bringing the protrusion 3 of the first member 1 provided with the protrusion 3 into contact with the surface of the second member 2 and applying pressure and electricity, when the protrusion 3 is pressurized against the second member 2, the protrusion The tip is
It sinks into the surface of the second member 2 to some extent. In this recessed portion, the contact resistance is small and the heat generation conditions due to the resistance are worsened. Further, when electricity is applied, the protrusion 3 is pressed against the surface of the second member 2 due to red heat, the contact area increases, and the resistance value decreases. At this time, the heat source shifts to the outer periphery of the protrusion 3. If sufficient contact resistance is not obtained in this way, the protrusion 3 may collapse before the contact portion melts, making it difficult to form nuggets. The object of the present invention is to promote the heat generation effect between the surface of the protrusion and the surface of the mating member, thereby facilitating the formation of nuggets.

The present invention provides a plurality of ridges or protrusions that make the conventional protrusion surface uneven in order to maintain appropriate contact resistance between the protrusion surface and the mating member surface at all times.

As shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of d-shaped protrusions 4 or protrusions are provided on the surface of the protrusion 3 provided on the first member 1 using a press or the like.

This protrusion 3 is pressed against the surface of the second member 2 of the other party by an electrode. Next, a current is passed between the protrusion 3 and the second member 2. Then, resistance heat generation occurs between the surface of the projection 3 and the surface of the second member 2, and the surface of the projection 3 and the surface of the second member 2 begin to melt. As the protrusion 3 is gradually crushed, the protrusions 4 or protrusions come into contact with the mating member one after another, generating heat and melting, completing the welding. By implementing the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.

溶接過程で常に有効な接触抵抗力滞られるため、安定し

Since effective contact resistance force is always maintained during the welding process, stable and highly reliable welding is possible.
