The joining by the retaining part merely prevents the two pieces of wood from coming apart, and the tensile strength is at most 400.
There is a small drawback.

It is formed over both pieces of wood 4,4.

The distance between the closest points between the parts located on the bottom surface of the leg portions 3, 3 is slightly smaller than the distance d between the closest points between the leg portions 3, 3, and the opening angle (2β) of each hole 5, The opening angle (2α) of portions 3 and 3 is slightly larger [straight].

向の力を受けた状態で接合される。Since the present invention is as described above, the opening angle of the clearance holes 5, 5 in which the leg portions 3, 3 of the connector 1 are press-fitted into the holes 5, 5 as shown in FIG. Since the opening angle is slightly wider than the opening angle of hole 3, as the leg portions 3, 3 move downward, the mutually opposing portions of their outer circumferential surfaces gradually bite into the mutually approaching portions of the inner circumferential surfaces of both holes 5, 5. Thus, the pieces of wood 4,4 are joined together under a force in the direction of approaching each other as shown by the arrows.

As a result, a tensile strength as large as 1000 kv'crA can be obtained between the timbers 4, 4.
