【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は光学的記録媒体に記録された周波数多重信号を
復調する装置に関するものである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an apparatus for demodulating frequency multiplexed signals recorded on an optical recording medium.
最近、光学式ビデオディスク装置などの広帯域記録再生
装置においてその帯域の広さを利用して光学的記録媒体
に音声信号などの狭帯域信号を周波数多重化して記録す
ることが提案されている。従来、このような周波数多重
信号を復調するには分割個数だけの帯域濾波器を用意し
てその1つを選択する事により希望する信号をとり出す
方法や、1つの帯域濾波器と可変局部発振器とによりヘ
テロダイン法によつて希望信号をとり出す方法があつた
が、前者の方法は多くの帯域濾波器を必要とする点で極
めて高価であり、非実用的であつた。2. Therefore, there was a method of extracting the desired signal by the heterodyne method, but the former method required many bandpass filters and was extremely expensive and impractical.

を簡単にした周波数多重信号の復調装置を提供するもの

えば第1番目の原信号は日本語でω1の搬送波をもち、
第i番目の原信号は英語でωiの搬送波をもつという具
合に記録されている。ところでディスク3はモーター4
によりー定速度で回転されているので、ディスク面で反
射された光はピット21の持つω1、ω2、・・・、ω
mの情報をもつて光検知器5に入射され電気信号に変換
される。ここで光源1の出力光が周波数ωsで変調され
ているとすると、光検知器5に入射する光はディスク面
のピット情報とのビードω1−ωs、ω2−ωs、゜゜
’、ωi−ωs、’゜゜、ωm−ωsを含んでいる。こ
れらの電気信号は帯域濾波器10に入力される。帯域濾
波器10の通過周波数をωfとする時、ωi−ωs=ω
fとなるようにωsを選ぶと、復調器11にはωi−ω
sの成分のみが選択されて入力し、復調出力端子12に
は第i番目の原信号が現われる。6は光源1を変調する
変調器、Tはこの変調器に変調周波数信号を供給する局
部発振器であり、選択スイツチ9により局部発振水晶群
8の任意の水晶を選択して出力光の周波数ωsを設定す
るもので、ωi−ωsが常にωfになるようにωsが選

Claims (1)
相異なる搬送波をもつて周波数分割多重化して記録され
た複数の音声信号などの狭帯域信号を復調する装置にお
いて、読み出し用光源を一定周波数で変調手段と、上記
光源の変調周波数を読み出す信号の帯域に応じて切り換
える切換手段と、上記変調手段によつて変調された上記
光源からの読み出し用光を上記光学的記録媒体の記録面
上に集光する手段と、上記記録面からの光を電気信号に
変換する手段と、一定の通過帯域を有し、上記電気信号
を入力される帯域濾波器と、この帯域濾波器を通過した
電気信号を復調する手段とを具備し、上記切換手段は、
上記各搬送波周波数と上記変調周波数との差の周波数が
上記帯域濾波器の通過周波数になるように上記変調周波
数を切り換える事を特徴とする周波数多重信号の復調装
