A so-called wire multi-stylus is known in which the tips of a large number of conductor wires are aligned and fixed in a straight line. However, in order to distribute the signal, this stylus requires a separate signal distributor, such as arranging the other end of the wire in a circular manner or radially arranging it and rotating the scanning element in contact with the other end of the wire. Therefore, the overall structure of the signal distribution device including the stylus head becomes relatively large. Regarding signal distribution, electrical distribution and sliding distribution using one or three needles on the recording paper surface are also known, but these methods are relatively expensive and the image quality is adversely affected by meandering needles. There was a problem. An object of the present invention is to provide a novel stylus head that can solve the above problems.

In FIG. The stylus head 1 consists of a thin plate-like conductor 2 and an insulator 3 as shown in FIG.
The pitch of each conductor 2 corresponds to the main scanning pitch of recording. A plurality of slots 4 running in the axial direction are provided on the circumferential surface of the laminated stylus 1 at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, and convex portions 5 are formed in the remaining area. 7 is a belt disposed near the stylus head 1 along its axial direction;
The belt 7 is wound between pulleys 8 and 8' and is driven by a motor M.

This contact 9 is electrically connected by suitable means to a signal voltage source, not shown. For example, when pulleys 8, 8' made of insulating material and belt 1 made of conductive material are used, and a plurality of contacts 9 are fixed to these, one contact makes contact with slot 4 of the stylus head. By configuring one of the other contacts to come into contact with the electrode 10 provided below, as shown in FIG. 2, connection to a signal voltage source is achieved. Reference numeral 11 denotes a back roller disposed opposite the stylus head 1, and the stylus head 1 is positioned such that one of its protrusions 5 faces the back roller 11.

During this time, a voltage is applied to the recording paper 12 from the stylus head 1 side. This is done as follows. When the belt 1 is run in one direction by the motor M, the tip of the contact 9 touches the stylus head 1.
The stylus is moved in the axial direction while in contact with the slot 4 of the stylus, thereby distributing the recording signal to each conductive portion of the laminated stylus. Naturally, therefore, this signal appears on the convex portion 5 of the stylus head 1 facing the rear roller 11, and a voltage corresponding to the signal is applied to the recording paper 12. In this case, the portion of the stylus head 1 that contacts the recording paper 12 and acts as a recording section is one of the convex portions 5, and the portion that contacts the contactor 9 is the concave portion 4, so that both portions are The relationship is such that damage or wear does not affect each other. Further, since only the convex portion facing the back roller 11 acts as a recording portion and other convex portions do not have any influence, the recording portion in the sub-scanning force direction is limited and the image quality is improved. Stylus head 1
is rotated one pitch in the circumferential direction each time one sheet is received, and is changed to a new convex portion and slot.

In the above example, the stylus head 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape, and the slot 4 as a contact part and the convex part 5 as a recording part are provided on the circumferential surface of the stylus head 1.
The protrusion can also be formed by making the stylus head in the shape of a prism rather than an ellipse.

The stylus head of the present invention has a plurality of recording parts and a plurality of contact parts, and can be changed to a new recording part and contact part by rotating the head by a certain angle, so that it is highly wear resistant.

Since these are limited and narrow areas, the image quality is also good. Since the contact portion is formed on the stylus itself, there is no need to provide a separate distribution contact body for the signal distributor. In addition, when the slot 4 is formed in the stylus head 1 as shown in FIG. 1, the running force direction of the contact 9 is made oblique to the axis of the stylus head, and the stylus is moved by the oblique running of the contact 9. It is also possible to rotate the head by one pitch.
