の問題点を解決したのである。Recently, the manufacturing of welded cans has been studied and put into practical use, but due to the nature of this type of welding, the edges are not completely welded, leaving an unwelded area and the edges slightly separated. Because it was curly, there was a risk of it getting caught on other objects. However, in this invention, when shaping the can body, the edge of the welded part is pressurized to give it a rounded edge, and the edge and the outer wall of the can body are made to be the same, thereby preventing the possibility of the welding part getting caught on other objects. The above-mentioned conventional problems were solved by preventing this problem and reinforcing the welded part by extending the can body wall.

する。That is, in order to weld a can body according to the present invention, the can body material is formed into a rhombic side surface including the edge portions 1a and lb of the can body material, and the edge portions 1a and lb of the can body material are formed into a diamond shape. The can body 1 is formed by overlapping the can body materials to a predetermined width, pressing the can body materials in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2, and welding the overlapping portion under pressure using welding rollers 7 and 8.

できる。Since the can body 1 at this time has a diamond-shaped side surface, in order to make the side surface square, the can body 1 is moved through guide rollers 9 and 10 as shown by the arrow 6 in FIG. are clamped in two sets, each before and after each strike, and at the same time, correction rollers 2 and 3 are clamped under pressure in two sets, each before and after each strike. In the above, the correction rollers 11 and 12 are arranged to shape the can body 1 into a substantially square shape, and the correction rollers 2 and 3 shape the can body into a square shape, and the edges 4 and 4 of the welded portions 1a and 1b.
In order to form each part a into a round shape, press the cut edge 4a toward the can body material, and make the cut edge 4a and the outer wall of the can body the same.
A part of the outer wall of the can body is extended to form a protrusion 5. Since the welded portion in the above is processed simultaneously in the can body shaping process, the number of steps and processing time are the same as in conventional welded cans, and the shape of the correction roller is simply changed depending on the purpose. , there is no risk of an increase in manufacturing costs by implementing this invention. In addition, in order to make the cut edge and the outer wall of the can body the same, the can body wall is extended outward and a protrusion 5 is provided, so the welded part is reinforced, and compared to the conventional method where a gap was provided at the joint of the can body. It has the effect of having compressive strength equivalent to that of a can body. Furthermore, the edge of the can body material is formed into a diamond shape on the side,
Since welding is carried out under pressure, the overlapping width of the joining edges can be easily kept constant, and welding can be ensured.
