Conventionally, the interior lining of the ceiling of an automobile is made by pasting an elastic sheet such as urethane foam to the outer panel of the ceiling, and then covering the surface with cloth, synthetic leather, or the like. Since such interior materials lack shape retention, they cannot be independently mass-produced outside the automobile assembly line, and their installation has been done manually on the assembly line. This work requires a high level of skill and has become a bottleneck in streamlining the automobile production line, and improvements have been desired. Therefore, in recent years, various types of interior materials for ceilings that have shape-retentive properties have been proposed. Among these, curved panels made of plastic cardboard as a base material and laminated with plastic foam, skin material, etc. as appropriate are lightweight, have cushioning properties, and have shape retention properties, so they are suitable for inset ceilings. It is considered to be a promising interior material. In general, plastic cardboard can be made to have any rigidity by adjusting the thickness of both the upper and lower flat plates and/or the number, shape, thickness, etc. of ribs, but when used as interior material for ceilings, If the rigidity is too high, the cushioning performance will be poor and the total weight of the curved panel will be heavy, which is disadvantageous in terms of cost and installation work. In addition, when attaching a curved panel to the ceiling panel, the usual method is to bend the panel once, insert it into the car through the window, and then fix it. However, if the rigidity of the plastic cardboard is too high, the curved panel may bend. It becomes difficult to Therefore, it is considered preferable to use plastic cardboard poles with low rigidity, but on the other hand, when plastic cardboard poles with low rigidity are used, they tend to flex, so when attached to the car body, they may sag due to their own weight and cause problems in the interior space of the car. There are disadvantages such as a smaller volume and poor shape retention, resulting in poor workability during installation. An object of the present invention is to provide a curved interior panel made of plastic cardboard, which has good shape retention, less sag due to its own weight, excellent cushioning properties, is lightweight, and easy to install. The present inventors have discovered that the above object can be achieved by using a specific plastic cardboard. That is, the present invention provides a curved interior panel made of plastic cardboard as a base material and laminated with a skin material, etc. as appropriate on the base material. Using cardboard with different bending buckling strengths in different directions,
A curved panel for interior use is characterized in that the panel is curved in a direction in which the buckling strength of the tamboard is weaker.

Plastic cardboard in the present invention refers to polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-propylene copolymer, ethylene monovinyl acetate copolymer, polystyrene, styrenic resins such as ABS resin,
The material is made of plastic such as nylon, polyester, or polyoxymethylene, and a combination of these with organic or inorganic fillers, organic or inorganic fibers, etc., as required, and ribs or embossing of an appropriate shape are placed between the upper and lower two flat plates. It refers to a structure that has shape-retentive properties and has spaces formed with uneven sheets, corrugated plates, etc. The curved panel for interior use of the present invention is made of plastic cardboard as a base material, and in particular, the present invention uses plastic cardboard that has different buckling strength in vertically upward bending and downward bending than flat cardboard plates. .

In the plastic cardboard having the above structure, the bending buckling strength is higher when the cardboard is bent toward the flat plate side, which has higher bending rigidity, than when it is bent toward the flat plate side, which has lower bending rigidity.

The curved panel for interior use of the present invention is characterized by using plastic cardboard as a base material, which has different buckling strength in vertically upward bending and downward bending of the flat cardboard plate, and This is because the Danpole is curved in the direction of its weaker buckling strength. That is, in manufacturing the panel of the present invention (in this case, it is important to process the curved surface in the above direction, and only in this way can an interior panel with less sagging be obtained. When the curved panel of the invention is attached to the ceiling panel of an automobile, a force is applied to the panel in a vertically downward direction using its fixed part as a fulcrum. This force is applied to the upper flat plate of the plastic cardboard pole of the panel. acts as a compressive force and as a tensile force on the lower flat plate. In such a case, the ease with which the cardboard sag depends largely on the rigidity of the side being compressed. It should be noted that the plastic cardboard has a low buckling strength. In other words, a panel that is curved in a direction is a curved panel in which the flat plate on the side of the plastic cardboard pole with higher bending rigidity is located on the outside of the curved surface than the flat plate on the side with lower bending rigidity. In the case of plastic cardboard having two flat plates (upper and lower) with different wall thicknesses, the thicker flat plate of the cardboard is on the outside of the curved surface. The curved interior panel of the present invention uses plastic cardboard as a base material, and It is made by appropriately laminating a skin material, an elastic sheet, etc.
