構成されるタオルヘム自動縫製機において、 裁断装置1は下記制御装置5の制御を受はフレーム本体
100の横方向からフィードローラ11の回転により間
欠的に送られてくるタオル連成品の原反Aを厚み検出器
13による該原反Aのタオルパイル織り部1aの検出信
号によりフィードローラ11による送りを停止し、該ロ
ーラ11を不作動位置に移動させ又同時に裁断位置の近
傍に配設されたクランプ13により原反Aを押え、該パ
イル織り部1aから所定の距離に位置する該原反Aのヒ
マ部3aを厚み検出器12の位置から上記距離と同じ距
離に位置する裁断器14位置にて停止させ次いで該ヒマ
部3aにて裁断し、裁断されたタオルヘム前端部4aを
せり上げ板15にて台枠上面よりせり上げ、この裁断器
14が配置されている台枠110aと対峙する台枠11
0bに配置されている掴み横架搬送器16により上記案
内架台120の案内を受けながら横断移動して該前端部
4aを掴み、復帰移動して原反Aを台枠110a、11
0b間に横架させ、次いで厚み検出器12による該原反
Aのタオルパイル織り部1aの検出信号による停止制御
を受ける迄フィードローラ11によりその原反Aと当接
する作動位置にて原反Aを搬送し、上述の如く間欠的且
つサイクリックに送り、裁断、横架を繰返し、 三つ折り装置2は下記制御装置5の制御を受は平行に対
峙する台枠110a、110bの三つ折りを行う面域で
あり台枠110a、110bの上面と同レベルを成し且
つその相互に対向している内側端板と順次その外側へ配
列されている二次折り定規22a、22b、−次折り定
規21a。 21bの上面上に夫々のヘム4a、5aの部分を搬送装
置4の搬送案内兼用定規41a、41bによって裁断装
置10よりクランプ摺動させながら搬送供給を受け、前
記二次折り定規22a、22b上でタオルaをクランプ
している兼用定規41a。 41bの上面に向って一次折り定規21 a、21bを
上方へ、内側へ、下方へと連続的に移動せしめ、これに
よってヘム4a、5aの部分を一次折りする一次工程と
、兼用定規41a、41bを一次折り部よりクランプを
解除して後内側への移動によって抜きその先端の上向き
旋回径外側へ移動し下向き旋回によって一次折りされた
ヘム4a、5aの先端部を前記内側端板上で再度クラン
プする二次工程と、前記−次折り定規21a、21bが
その不作動位置に復帰後その内側に隣接配置され二重折
りされたヘム4a、5a部分を支持している二次折り定
規22a 、22bを上方へ、内側へ、下方へと連続的
に移動せしめることによって該二重折りされたヘム4a
、5a部分を再度クランプしている兼用定規41a、4
1bの上面に向って二次折りを行う三次工程と、兼用定
規41a。 41bを二次折り部よりクランプを解除して後内側への
移動によって抜きこの三つ折りされたヘム4a、5aの
部分を縫製装置3への中継場所へクランプ摺動させなが
ら搬送して行く搬送装置4の搬送専用クランプ42a、
42bによってクランプする四次工程と、前記二次折り
定規22a。 22bがその不作動位置に復帰する三次工程の一連の工
程とを行い、 縫製装置3が下記制御装置5の制御を受は上記専用クラ
ンプ42a、42bによって中継場所迄搬送されて来た
三つ折りされたヘムを有するタオルaのミシン送り用ク
ランプ43a、43bによる該中継場所からの供給を受
け、三つ折りされたヘム4a、5a部を縫製し、 クランプ搬送装置4が上記案内架台120より吊設され
た吊設案内40に沿って上記フレーム本体100の長手
水平方向に同時一体に移動する兼用定規41a、41b
と専用クランプ42a。 42b及び上記台枠110a、110bに固定されたミ
シン送り案内台44a、44bに沿って移動するミシン
送り用クランプ43a、43bより構成され、 制御装置5が該兼用定規41a、41bにより裁断済み
タオルaを三つ折り装置2へ、専用クランプ42a、4
2bにより三つ折りされト4a。 5aを有するタオルaを中継場所に夫々同時にクランプ
しながら搬送し、中継場所にてミシン送り用クランプ4
3a、43bにより該タオルaを専用クランプ42a、
42bより引継ぎクランプしながらミシン送りし縫製し
、該縫製作業と、上記裁断作業及び三つ折り作業が同時
に実施されるように制御することを特徴とするタオルヘ
ム自動縫製機。
