本発明はノイズ除去装置に関し、特に再生ビデオ信号に
おける低周波帯域のノイズを除去するノイズ除去装置を

イズが目立つ程度であつた。このため、この高周波帯域
のノイズの除去を主目的として行なわれていたが、近年
ホーム用ビデオテープレコーダーの小型化が進むにつれ
て短波長域の使用や、再生ビデオ信号等に多くの匍銀が
加えられ、ノイズの成分も従来のノイズと成分が異なり
、従来よりも低周波帯域のノイズの除去が必要となつた
。まず、従来のノイズ除去装置について第1〜3図とと
もに説明する。第1図において、1はバッファ−回路、
2は高域通過フィルタ、3はりミッタ回路、4は位相反

ィルタ2が微分回路を構成しているので微分波形となる
。そして、この再生ビデオ信号はりミッタ回路3により
ー定振幅以内に抑圧され、さらに、位相反転回路4によ
り位相反転され混合器5に入力される。この混合器5で
は前記府ツフアー回路1を通過した再生ビデオ信号と、
位相反転回路4を通過した信号とが加えられ第2図ハに
示す周波数特性を有する第3図ハの再生ビデオ信号が出
力される。しかし、この第3図ハの再生ビデオ信号には
前記第3図口の再生ビデオ信号における一定振幅以上の
振幅を有する期間Aに対応してノイズが現れる。すなわ
ち、リミツノ回路3において、一定振幅以上の振幅を有
する期間Aのノイズが除去されているためバッファ−回
路1を通過した再生ビデオ信号と、このりミッタ回路3
を通過した信号との差信号には当然第3図ハのBに示す
ようなノイズが現れる。このように従来のノイズ除去装
置では除去されないノイズが小型のビデオテープレコー

この第4図において11は入力端子であり、この入力端
子11に加えられた第5図aに示す周波数特性を有する
第6図aの再生ビデオ信号はバツフア一回路12、第1
の高域通過フイルタ13、第2の高域通過フィルタ14
に入力される。なお、第1の高域通過フイルタ13の遮
断周波数FClは第2の高域通過フイルタ14の遮断周
波数FC2より小さく設定されている。この第1の高域
通過フイルタ13の出力には第5図bに示す周波数特性
を有する第6図bの再生ビデオ信号NA?5ζ現れる。
一方、第2の高域通過フイルタ14の出力には第5図c
に示す高周波特性を有する第6図cの再生ビデオ信号N
Bが現れ、この再生ビデオ信号を位相反転回路15にて
位相を反転し、混合器16に入力する。この混合器にお
いて、前記第1の高域通過フイルタ13を通過した再生
ビデオ信号NAと、前記位相反転回路15を通過した再
生ビデオ信号を各最大振幅E8l,e82を一致させた
後合成し、第5図dの周波数特性を有する第6図dの信
号Ncが出力される。しかし、この第6図dの信号Nc
は極めて短かい時間であるが大きな振幅の信号(図示せ
ず)が含まれているので、後段のリミツタ回路17にて
この大きな振幅の信号を一定振幅以内に抑圧する。この
リミツタ回路17を通過した侶号には主にノイズ成分の
みが含まれている。そして2このリミツタ回路17を通
過した信号を位相反転回路18にて位相反転し.混合器
19に入力する。この混合器19において、前記バツフ
アロ一回路12を通過した再生ビデオ信号と、前記位相
反転回路18を通過した信号を合成し、低域ノイズの除
去された第5図eの周波数特性を有する第6図eの再生
ビデオ信号が出力される。この出力された再生ビデオ信
号には高域ノイズが含まれているが、小型のホーム用ビ
デオテーブレコーダ一においては視覚的にはほとんど影
響が無く、また、信号の立上がり部分の波形欠除がなく
なり6くつきりと引き締まつた画面を得ることができる
。以上のように本発明によれば、特定周波数帯域のノイ
ズ成分が一様に除去され、かつ波形欠除のない再生ビデ
オ侶号を得ることができ、特に小型のホーム用ビデオテ
ープレコーダーにおぃては画面がくつきりと引きしまり
2かつ特定のノイズだけが目立つということもなくなる
