Generally, flow piping sections are connected by bolting the flanges provided at the ends of the pipes to each other with a packing between them, but not only does the outer diameter of the fastened section become a dog, There are defects such as irregularities in piping dimensions, and the airtight function cannot be maintained due to loss of elasticity of the packing.

This invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and the cross section of the packing member formed into a ring is hollow into which fluid can be injected. The gist of the packing is that a filament is interposed along the ring direction, and the ring is allowed to expand in the circumferential direction.

The packings A and B of the present invention having the above-mentioned configurations include a means for injecting air into the ball (injecting from the navel part that acts as a check valve) or a means for injecting air by providing a closable injection port in the sealing part (not shown). Accordingly, a fluid such as air or water is injected into the internal unsealed hollow part to inflate it as shown in Figs. 4 and 5. Since it is possible to inject fluid after inserting B into the piping connection part in a state in which no fluid has been injected, the piping can be connected extremely easily without causing difficulties in connection due to interference.

As described above, in the present invention, the cross section of the packing member formed in the ring is hollow to allow fluid injection, and a filament is interposed along the circumferential direction inside the wall thickness of the cross section, so that the packing member formed in the ring has a hollow section that can be injected with fluid. The packing of the present invention is characterized by being allowed to elongate, and the packing of the present invention only needs to be inserted into the pipe connection part without any fluid injected, and then the fluid is injected, and the packing can be easily inserted into the connection part, making the pipe connection work easier. It can be carried out efficiently and does not damage the packing itself.

Further, since the packing of the present invention does not deform in the axial direction of the connecting tube even if it is expanded in the ring circumferential direction by fluid injection, the connecting members are kept in close contact with each other and their airtightness is maintained well.
