【発明の詳細な説明】 従来、調律の表面を6ナイロンなどのポリアミド樹脂を
以て被覆して構成した巻尺は公知であるが、この巻尺は
調律を芯とするので強靭であつて精度も高くまたその表
面が合成樹脂で覆われているので手触りが柔かい等の利
点がある反面、このポリアミド樹脂被覆の巻尺は同樹脂
が高価であるので、いきおい、コスト高となる弊があつ
た。

ステンレス鋼帯1の外面にゴム系接着剤2を塗布して熱
乾燥したのち同ゴム系接着剤2の外側に塩化ビニール系
接着剤3(商品名、コバゾール)を重ねて塗布して熱乾
燥し、次いで当該鋼帯1に塩化ビニル4を押出成形によ
り被覆して巻尺本体イを構成し、この巻尺本体イの表面
に寸法目盛5を設けて完成したものである。

このゴム系接着剤の外面に塩化ビニル系接着剤を重ねて
塗布して乾燥し、次いでこの帯体を押出成形により塩化
ビニルを以て被覆することによつて解決したものであつ
て、即ち本発明に於ては相互に接着性のよい鋼帯とゴム
系接着剤ゴム系接着剤と塩化ビニル系接着剤、塩化ビニ
ル系接着剤と塩化ビニルを順次被覆接着させて最終的に
鋼帯に塩化ビニルを剥離不能に被覆させる結果をもたら
し、これによつて塩化ビニル樹脂被覆の鋼帯製巻尺の製
造を可能としたものであつて、本発明所期の目的を確実
に達成し得る効果がある。
