あり、そのために、カードの一方の側面から側圧をかけ
て、他方のカード端面を規準面に押しつける機構が必要
で、かかる点から従来のカードリーダに於ては、第1図
若しくは第2図に示す様なカード側圧機構が用いられて
いた。

固い場合には、カード先端がカード側圧部材にその走行
を妨げられてカードの走行が円滑に進まない事態をも生
ずることとなる。

規準面、11はカード15をカード搬送路に沿つて走行
させるためのカード搬送用ゴムローラーで19はその受
ローラー、13は該カード搬送用ゴムローラー11の回
転軸、14はカード15に情報の書き込みや読み取りを
行なうための磁気ヘツド、18はカード15を磁気ヘツ
ド14の摺動面に密着させるべく、該カード15を挟ん
で該磁気ヘツド14の真上に設けられた磁気ヘツド押え
ローラであるが、この図中特に本発明の要部は磁気カー
ド15の右端側面部と接触する側壁17′の形状がカー
ド15力向に向つて内側に傾斜面20を形成して基台1
6に取り付けられていることに存するものである(この
場合、傾斜面は基台16に形成してもよいことは勿論で
ある)。

反対側のカード端部)は規準面12に押しつけられるこ
ととなる。以上の様に本発明によれば、カード送り機構
に於けるカード搬送路を形成する基台に設けられたカー
ド位置規制用側壁にカード搬送路力向に向う下向きの斜
面を有する様な斜面を形成することにより、極めて簡単
、容易、且つ確実に、カードの他端を反対側の側壁に形
成された規準面に押しつけることができるもので、実用
上極めて有用である。
