、単独で針床上を走行する編目移転専用のキャリツジを
設け、レース編のときには編目移転用キャリツジと編成
用キャリツジとを針床上で交互に走行させ、先づ編目移
転用キャリツジの走行により、信号カード等の信号担持
体を編成用キャリツジとは関係なく送り、かつそのキャ
リツジに備える第一の選別部材により編目移転用の編針
バットを前後の二位置のうちの、編目移転を行う一方と
、編目移転を受ける他方の二位置に選別し、さらに編目
移転機構により編目を移転して、レース編のための目を
作り、編成用キャリツジの針床上での走行により、編目
移転用キャリッジと同様に信号相持体を送るか、或は送
らないかの切換を任意とし、かつ模様編カム機構によっ
て模様編を可能にするようにしたものであって、編目移
転と、編成の各運動を編目移転用キャリツジと編成用キ
ャリツジとにより分担し、編目移転用キャリツジにより
編目移転をするときは必須的に信号担持部材を送るが、
編成用キャリツジにより平編をするときはその担持部材
を送らず、模様編を行うときのみに送るようにすること

置に選別された編針のバットを前後二個のバット通路に
各別に案内してその前後いずれか一方の位置の編針に懸
吊された編目を特定の他方の位置の編針に移転する編目
移転機構と、 上記編針配列信号を順次に変換する配列信号変換部材を
編目移転用キャリツジの走行に関連して間欠駆動させる
第一の駆動部材とを備え、更に、前記編成用キャリツジ
には、二色同時編込み編等の模様編のための編針配列信
号を多段に亘って保有する信号担持体の前記信号に従っ
て針床に列設された編針を前後二位置に選別する第二の
選別部材と、 その第二の選別部材によって前後二位置に選別された編
針のバットを前後二個のバット通路に各別に案内して模
様編を行なう模様編カム機構と、上記編針配列信号を順
次に変換する配列信号変換部材を編成用キャリッジの走
行に関連して間欠駆動させる第二の駆動部材とを備え、 少なくともその編成用キャリツジに備えた第二の選別部
材によって編針を前後二位置に選別させるか否かを適宜
に選択できるように構成するとともに、同じく編成用キ
ャリツジの第二の駆動部材をその編成用キャリツジの走
行に関連して配列信号変換部材を駆動する作用位置と、
駆動しない不作用位置とに選択的に切換え自在に構成し

針のバットを前後二個のバット通路に各別に案内して模
様編を行なう模様編カム機構と、上記編針配列信号を順
次に変換する配列信号変換部材を編成用キャリツジの走
行に関連して間欠駆動させる第二の駆動部材とを備え、 少なくともその編成用キャリツジに備えた第二の選別部
材によって編針を前後二位置に選別させるか否かを適宜
に選択できるように構成するとともに、 同じく編成用キャリツジの第二の駆動部材をその編成用
キャリツジの走行に関連して配列信号変換部材を駆動す
