ては重油・石炭のスラリー状態で輸送する方法が、重油
・石炭燃焼の燃料形体から行われている。しかし、重油
はその使用量が多くコスト高となり、また重油と石炭と
では産地が異なるため、重油を石炭の産地まで輸送する
必要があるなどの問題を有する。そこで、石炭輸送方法
としては石炭・水スラリーとして輸送し、直接ボィラで
燃焼する方式が検討されている。石炭・水スラリーは、
直接ボィラ等で燃焼するため石炭自体のェネルギ効率は
低下するが、輸送コストを考慮すると十分採算がとれる
ことが試算されている。このように石炭・水スラリー輸
送法が注目されてきているが、石炭を微粉化し、水スラ
リーとした場合には、スラリーの柵は弱酸性を呈するの
でパイプラインが腐食しないように考慮しなければなら
ない。本発明は上記に鑑みなされたもので、その目的と
するところは、石炭を水スラリーとして輸送する場合に
、パイプラインの腐食を防止することにある。
