Even in this type of refrigerator-freezer, the proportion of the freezer compartment in the refrigerator itself tends to increase year by year. However, since some users do not fully accept this trend, users have come to prefer devices that allow the internal volume of the freezer to be increased or decreased as needed.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and includes a refrigerator-freezer comprising a freezer compartment, a refrigerator compartment, and a switching compartment (freezer compartment←→refrigerating compartment), and a mechanism for adjusting the amount of cold air to adjust the indoor temperature of the switching compartment. The switching chamber can be switched between a freezing chamber and a refrigerator, and the volumes of the refrigerator and freezing chambers can be increased or decreased as necessary.

、第5図、第6図に示す構成とすると効果的である。By operating this lever 31, the damper opens and closes the cold air passage. Here, how to use the switching compartment will be explained with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4 (first, when the switching compartment is used as a refrigerator compartment). At this time, the switching damper 30 is in the position shown by the solid line in FIG. When the refrigerator starts operating in such a state, the cold air cooled by the cooler 11 passes through the duct plate, reaches the blower 15, and most of it is blown out from the cold air outlet 17 into the freezer compartment 6. , the remaining cold air passage 26 leads to the pressure chamber 25 , and then returns to the cooler 11 via the cold air passage 28 . The cold air blown into the freezer compartment 5 cools the inside of the freezer compartment 5, and then is sucked in through a cold air suction port 20 provided in the partition wall and reaches a cold air passage 21. Next, it reaches the switching chamber via a cold air passage 22 in which a damper thermostat 23 for automatic cold air adjustment is provided. At this time, the damper thermostat 23 prevents the cold air from blowing into the switching chamber 6, and the cold air is returned to the cooler via the cold air passage 28. On the other hand, the cold air that has cooled the conversion chamber passes through the cold air suction port 29 and returns to the middle of the cooler, forming a cold air circulation path. Also blower 1
A part of the cold air blown out from the refrigerator 5 reaches the refrigerator compartment 3a via a damper thermostat 32 for automatic cold air adjustment, and is then returned to the cooler 11. Item number 33 shown in FIG. 2 is the return port from the refrigerator compartment 3a. In addition, in order to use the inside of the cut-out sliding room 6 as a freezing room, the cut-out damper 30 is connected to the cold air passage 2 as shown by the broken line in FIG.
If the damper thermometer installed between the freezing chamber 5 and the switching chamber 6 is moved so as to close the freezing chamber 5, the cold air that has passed through the freezing chamber 5 will be transferred to the switching damper 30.
The cold air that enters the switching chamber via the switching chamber and does not pass through the freezer compartment 5 is also discharged into the switching chamber 6, while the cold air path returns to the cooler 11 via the damper thermometer 32, the refrigerator compartment 34, and the cooler 11. It is formed. By configuring such a cold air circulation path, the temperature of the switching chamber 6 can be made to be approximately the same as that of the freezing chamber or the temperature of the refrigerating chamber. In addition, when trying to improve responsiveness when opening/closing the door in the function room or applying a load in a refrigerator having the above-mentioned air passage, it is effective to adopt the configuration shown in Figs. 5 and 6. .

い冷蔵庫が得られるものである。By doing so, the set temperature in the switching chamber 6 can be quickly brought to a predetermined temperature. That is, in the refrigerator having the air passage configuration described above, the auxiliary temperature controller 35
is not in the switching chamber 6, the temperature rise in this chamber is not easily transmitted to the temperature controller 34 in the freezing chamber (cold air in the switching chamber 6 passes through the cooler 11 before reaching the freezing chamber). Met. Of course, the operating temperature of the temperature regulator at this time should be different from that of the previous temperature regulator, or the setting value should be changed in conjunction with the previous operation of the sliding damper. Note that instead of using the temperature controller 35, only one temperature controller 34 can be used.
In the case where the operation of the compressor 8 is controlled to maintain the temperature in the freezing chamber 5 and the switching chamber 6 at a predetermined temperature, the heat-sensitive part of the temperature controller is also affected by the temperature in the switching chamber. It is best to install it on a thin partition wall where possible. Furthermore, defrosting in a refrigerator having this type of switching compartment is significantly different from that in a conventional refrigerator compartment. That is, when the switching compartment is used as a refrigerator compartment, a large amount of frost forms on the cooler, and when the switching compartment is used as a freezing compartment, the amount of frost builds up is comparable to that of a refrigerator. In other words, the amount of frosting is largely influenced by the items stored in the refrigerator compartment.
Based on this, in the present invention, in addition to the gutter heater 36 which was installed in the lower part of the cooler, an auxiliary gutter heater 37 is provided, and the gutter heater 36 generates heat during defrosting regardless of switching of the switching chamber. The gutter auxiliary heater 37 is designed to save power by generating heat only when the switching chamber is used as a refrigerating chamber. As explained above, the present invention has a freezer compartment, a refrigerator compartment, and a switching compartment, and a cooler is disposed in the switching compartment, and one blower, one sliding damper, and two dampers, a thermostat, and a compressor. In a refrigerating room where each room is cooled to a set temperature by a temperature controller that operates the machine, the temperature controller installed in the freezer compartment is connected in parallel and the compressor is connected in series. An auxiliary temperature controller is installed in the switching chamber to improve responsiveness to temperature increases in the switching chamber, so the temperature in the switching chamber can be adjusted from around -18℃ to around 12℃ as needed. Since the user can easily select by operating only the switching damper, the internal volume of the freezer compartment can be increased or decreased as necessary, and in the present invention, an auxiliary temperature controller is also installed in the switching compartment. This allows the temperature rise in the switching chamber to be quickly detected and the compressor to start operating immediately, resulting in a refrigerator with very good responsiveness.
