DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an improvement in a method for detecting edge deviation of running fabric, and more specifically, a method that can be effectively applied only to detecting edge edge position of running fabric with textures and stitches. The purpose is to significantly improve the detection effect or detection accuracy of ear tip deviation and achieve more accurate deviation correction.

A photoelectric detector consisting of a light emitter and a light receiver is installed near the edge of the running fabric, and when detecting the deviation of the edge of the running fabric based on changes in the amount of light received by the receiver, As shown in Figure 5, the rain canister should be placed so that the line connecting the emitter port and the receiver C, which are placed on both sides of the surface of the fabric A, is perpendicular to the direction of the fabric surface (direction along the fabric surface). The deflection of the selvage end was detected by placing a light beam 2 from the projector port in a direction perpendicular to the surface direction of the fabric (direction along the surface of the fabric).

However, according to this detection method, when the running fabric is deflected and the edge of the edge intervenes between the emitter and receiver of the photoelectric detector, not all of the light beam is blocked by the fabric;
As shown in Fig. 5, a considerable amount of light passes through the texture (or stitch) H and reaches the receiver C, so the reduction in the amount of light received when the fabric is deflected is small. There are serious drawbacks that are difficult to avoid and therefore have a significant negative impact on detection accuracy and make it difficult to achieve accurate deviation correction.

Therefore, in order to overcome this drawback, an intensifier is used to increase the reduction in the amount of light received, but the use of an intensifier complicates the structure and causes the problem of increased equipment costs. This invention is
This method was developed to eliminate the disadvantages caused by the above-mentioned conventional method, and a light fog detector consisting of a light emitter and a light receiver is arranged near the edge of the running fabric, and the light is received by the light receiver. When detecting the deviation of the edge of the running fabric by changing the amount,
By arranging both emitters and receivers placed on both sides of the fabric so that the lines connecting them are diagonal to the fabric's surface direction (the direction along the fabric's surface), the light from the emitters can be directed across the fabric. This invention relates to a method for detecting edge edge deviation of running fabric, characterized in that the deviation of the edge edge of a running fabric is detected by projecting light in an oblique direction with respect to all directions (directions along the surface of the fabric). The details of this invention will be explained below based on the embodiment drawings. In FIG. 1, 1 is a photoelectric detector main body, on one side of which the receiving interval of the edge of the fabric is controlled and as required from front to back. Two detection villages 2 and 3 are provided protrudingly deviated at an angle of A photoelectric detector 6 is formed by having both devices 4 and 5 diagonally opposed to each other, and the detector 6 is placed close to the edge of the running fabric C having a texture, thereby connecting the light emitter 4 and the light receiver 5. The line, that is, the direction of light projection is made oblique to the direction along the surface of the fabric.

In this arrangement, the fabric C is run in the direction shown by the solid line arrow while projecting light from the light emitter 4 toward the light receiver 5, but the fabric shifts in the direction shown by the chain arrow (see Figure 4). When the edge of the edge intervenes between the emitter 4 and the receiver 5, most of the emitted light ray A is transmitted to the stripes of the fabric C, as shown in enlarged form in FIGS. 3 and 4. It is reliably blocked by the yarn W and hardly passes through the weave M, and therefore the amount of light received by the light receiver 5 is greatly reduced. It is possible to sharply sense and detect edge deviation and significantly improve detection accuracy. As described above, according to the present invention, the amount of light received by the light receiver of the photoelectric detector can be greatly and significantly reduced when the running fabric reaches the edge of the running fabric. It is possible to reliably detect the deviation of the tip of the ear, significantly improving the detection accuracy and contributing to the improvement of the deviation correction effect.
