[Technical Background] In general, in tanks that store petroleum, petroleum products, chemical products, etc. in liquid form, it is an important issue to keep the stored liquid clean.

The reasons for this are the value of the liquid as a product, the value of the liquid as a raw material, and, for example, tanks are generally accompanied by liquid pumps, but if the liquid is dirty, the mechanical seals and bearings of these pumps may be damaged. This has a significant impact on the maintainability of equipment, such as easily damaging equipment and increasing the burden of maintenance, inspection and repair.

Therefore, in this type of storage tank, at least the rapid liquid part,
That is, in a flat-bottomed cylindrical tank, it is necessary to clean the inner surfaces of the bottom plate and side plates.

〔従来の技術〕[Conventional technology]

In general, the construction period for a tank generally lasts from several months to two to three years, and during this period both the inside and outside of the tank are exposed to wind and rain, and rust occurs on the material surface.

Conventionally, countermeasures for mirrors have been to apply anti-rust coatings or to design the plate materials in anticipation of rust, but the former can cause the liquid to become contaminated, so The latter requires work to remove rust. Also, during the construction of the tank,
Temporary construction scaffolding is installed, but in many cases it is not possible to use this scaffolding to clean the inside of the tank.

The reason for this is that the temporary scaffolding will be removed prior to the tank filling test, which involves filling the tank with water and checking the strength of the tank itself and its foundation. In addition, in the case of a tank with a roof, when the roof is assembled on the ground and then lifted to a predetermined height from the ground using the air raising method, etc., it is necessary to remove the temporary scaffolding mentioned above before the roof is installed. Therefore, it is not possible to use these temporary scaffolds to clean the inner walls of the tank.

このような理由で、タンク内面の清浄作業を行う際には
、従来では別途に足場を組み立てる必要がある。
For this reason, conventionally, when cleaning the inside of a tank, it is necessary to assemble a separate scaffold.

In this case, the complicated work of assembling and dismantling the scaffolding is added, which not only lengthens the construction period and increases costs, but also has serious drawbacks, such as the need to work at heights, which is dangerous. [Object of the Invention] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and it completely eliminates the conventional drawbacks by simple means, eliminates the work of assembling and dismantling scaffolding for cleaning work, and at the same time makes it easier to work at heights. The aim is to eliminate the need for this process, improve work safety, and improve the efficiency of cleaning the inside of the tank.

That is, the midway part of the cable 5 is connected to a guide member 6 such as a hoist movably attached to the transfer rail 3 so that its length can be adjusted, and one end of the cable 5 is connected to the automatic traveling trolley 4.
Further, the other end of the cable 5 is guided to the tank bottom plate 7, and is used as a moving operating device for raising and lowering the shift carriage 4 by an operator as shown in the figure. Then, in the relationship between the cable 5 and the guide member 6, the automatic traveling vehicle 4 is positioned on the inner surface of a predetermined side wall, and a magnet (not shown) provided on the automatic traveling vehicle 4' is used to move the automatic traveling vehicle 4 to the tank side wall. The automatic traveling trolley 4 is slowly moved horizontally while polishing the inner surface of the side wall of the tank with a wire brush, and when the entire circumference of this area has been cleaned, the automatic traveling trolley is moved by operating the cable 5. By moving it upward or downward by one pitch, the entire inner wall surface of the tank is cleaned in the same way.

The tank bottom plate T may be cleaned by other known means. [
[Effects] As described above, according to the present invention, there is no need to set up scaffolding for cleaning as in the past, and there is no need to work at heights, so it is extremely safe and requires no labor. It has excellent features such as safe and accurate automatic cleaning of the inner surface of the tank wall.
