An atomizer 1 is provided in the central shaft portion. The atomizer has a means for supplying a liquid fuel such as heavy oil or kerosene at its front portion, and a means for supplying an atomizing medium such as steam or air for atomizing the liquid fuel. It has a structure that has several fuel injection holes so that atomized fuel can be ejected radially at the tip.

Combustion air is supplied from around the atomizer, and the supply structure is such that a zone divider 2 is provided around the atomizer, and the air that passes through the register 3 is guided in the direction of the blades of the register, causing the clock to rotate. The inner air swirling in the same direction as the clock is supplied through the supply path 4, and the air passing through the register 5 is guided by the direction of the blades of the register and the outer air swirls in the opposite direction to the rotation of the clock. The air is supplied through the supply path 6, and the zone divider 2 serves as a boundary between the air supply paths 4 and 6. Therefore, the fuel jet 7 ejected radially in the throw section passes through the vortex 10 created by the inner air annular flow 8 swirling clockwise and the outer air annular flow 9 swirling counterclockwise. Therefore, mixing of fuel particles and air is promoted. Because this combustion device has such an air supply structure, combustion occurs smoothly, complete combustion occurs even if the excess air ratio is reduced, and the amount of soot and dust generated is small, resulting in combustion with high thermal efficiency. . The present invention further relates to a structure of a combustion device that further increases thermal efficiency by increasing the swirl effect.

The atomizer has a fuel supply means and an atomizing medium supply means at the front part, and several fuel injection holes at the tip part to eject the atomized fuel radially. Combustion air is supplied from around the atomizer, and the supply structure is such that a zone divider 12 is provided around the atomizer, and the air passing through registers 13 and 15 is rotated in the direction of rotation depending on the direction of the blades of these registers. The zone divider 12 separates the air supply paths 14 and 16 for the inside air and the outside air, which are supplied in reverse order, but in the present invention, a turbo riser 21 is provided at the tip of the zone divider 12. This is a characteristic. As shown in the perspective view in FIG. 3, the turbo riser has a large number of inwardly facing blades 22, 22' and a number of outwardly facing blades 23, 23' arranged alternately at its tip. It is of structure. Therefore, the fuel jets 17 ejected radially in the throw section pass through the vortex 20 created by the inner air annular flow 18 and the outer air annular flow 19 that swirl in opposite directions. By installing the turbo riser 21 having the above-described structure, the vortex 20 generated downstream of the turbo riser 21,
20' becomes a stronger vortex, and while the fuel jet 17 passes through the strong vortex 20, 20', mixing of the fuel particles and air is further promoted. In the combustion device of the present invention, such mixing is promoted, so combustion is performed more smoothly, and even if the excess air ratio is reduced, complete combustion is easily achieved, reducing the amount of soot and dust generated, and further improving thermal efficiency. .

The table below compares the amount of residual oxygen in the combustion gas and the amount of soot generated between the secondary combustion apparatus shown in Figure 1 and the combustion apparatus of the present invention shown in Figure 2. The experimental results clearly show that the combustion device of the present invention can increase thermal efficiency and achieve significant savings in fuel consumption.
